Chapter 22

** Zoeys point of view **

I woke up this morning with a pounding headache not to mention I felt a little dizzy to. Oh well couldn't skip school for fuck sake id hate to be grounded again. I yawned as I stretched my arms out into the air than got up and searched for an out fit I looked around in my closet than decided on wearing a striped colorful shirt and some faded blue jeans I walked into my bathroom and tossed my clothes on the counter and started to undress.

I turned on the shower an let the water run for a few minutes as I waited for some hot water brushed out my tangly hair it was only like that cause iv had my hair in a messy bun for two days straight. When I was finally done with my shower I got dressed and blow dried my hair I decided to put on a little make up today. I looked myself over in the mirror I was satisfied I smiled and walked out of my bathroom and slipped on my boots I grabbed my cellphone and keys and skipped down the stairs. I just notice the house is really quite with out my mom being here in the mornings I sighed and headed out the front door.

Before I went to school I looked down at the clock it read 7:09Am I still had time to stop and get something to eat Taco Bell was an hour way drive so pretty much Mc Donald's was the only other choice I had left. When I was done ordering my food I ate on the way to school I had a bad habit of eatin slowly so when I got to school I still wasn't done with my meal. I parked my car grabbed all my trash and got out of the car an headed for the school ugh another pain in the ass day. I walked into the school to see Connor wasn't at my Locker but Roxanne... was... " Casey's friend. " I mumbled I made my way over there preparing for whatever bullshit she had to say to me before I did I threw away my trash than headed over there. I opened my locker door pretending Roxanne wasn't even there but that didn't last long " So.. who are you going to homecoming with? " Roxanne asked as she filed her nails some more. I shut my locker door an groaned " Okay what are you up to? What'd Casey want you to do to me? " Roxanne put her hands up in defense taking a step back " Slow down there Zoey I just wondered because I thought we could totally go together. " I frowned I knew she was up to something just couldn't put my finger on it " Uh.. Connor?.." I say well that came out more as a question rather than a statement. I walked away unfortunately Roxanne followed " Oh that's sweet of him , im going with Jeremy " I stopped in confusion I thought he was taken " Isn't he going with his girlfriend ? " I asked Roxanne let out a sarcastic laugh " No didn't you hear Jeremy and Natalie are totally over "

Dammit this girl is up to something I can just feel it something about my gut was telling me not to believe a damn word that comes out of her mouth. I sighed an shrugged it off " Yea well nice chatting with you , um do you perhaps know where Co-- " " library " Roxanne interrupted before I could finish my sentence I really hated when do that interrupt you Grr..!! I nodded and headed straight for the Library which was a couple hallways away from my locker seemed like everything in this school is miles away from my locker. I waked into the Library to see couple kids sitting at the tables working catching up on some work probably but no sign of Connor. I walked passed a couple of empty isles I almost gave up until I heard giggling and laughing a couple isles down from where I was standing I walked quietly up to where the laughing was coming from. " Well Gorgeous id take you to homecoming but I'm already going with Zoey " Connor said as he tucked a strand of hair behind Sages ear she giggled i clenched my books tightly. " Well .. do you think we could hang out possibly go get a drink or something ? You know I hear there's another party going on Friday you should come invite Zoey to " Sage said I watched silently as Sage kept flirting with him a normal girlfriend would go up an confront another girl but nope I was the nosey one to sit there and watch as it all went down.

" Sure il see if she wants to go " Connor said Sage nodded and stood up on her tippy toes and kissed Connor on the corner of his mouth. Connor didn't react back or stop her any what the hell?!! I rolled my eyes furiously and walked out of the Library.

** Casey's point of view **

" Well Roxy giving me the low down! What all was said ? " I asked as I took another bite of my salad " I'd say it worked out perfectly but something in Zoeys eyes said she doesn't believe a damn word I said " Mmm.. " Guess will just have to make our point loud and clear , did you make sure she caught Sage flirting with Connor in the Library? " This will all work out especially if Connor is caught in the act of maybe expressing his inner feelings for me or possibly being or fucking me at Friday's party. " Yea I watched through the window of the library door " Roxy said I took another bite of my salad than a drink of my diet coke I really shouldn't be drinking soda considering it's not necessarily good for you but one can won't kill me right?

I took a glance around the cafeteria no sign of Zoey yet but Connor looked pretty content talking to Sage that bitch better not be think she's gonna be able to date him just cause I sorta paid her to do this. " Soo.. what are we gonna do next? " Roxy asked as she was still filling her nails did she not do that earlier when she was at my house. " Nothing till the party on Friday , we can't blow our cover other wise Zoey will definitely be suspicious " I say as I got up to dump my trey.
