Remember I'm always here! I kinda made this to vent out my feelings so........I know how it feels.
In the hallowed halls of Hogwarts, where secrets linger like shadows, the tension between Mattheo Riddle and Y/N had reached a boiling point. Y/N had spent countless nights wrestling with her feelings, her heart a battleground of hope and fear. The moment she decided to confront him was etched in her mind—every heartbeat loud and clear, echoing the courage she had mustered.
She found him in the courtyard, the sun casting a warm glow around him, making him look almost ethereal. Her palms were sweaty, heart racing as she approached. "Mattheo," she began, her voice quaking slightly. "Can we talk?"
He looked up, a flicker of interest in his eyes before it vanished. "Sure, what's up?"
Taking a deep breath, Y/N felt the world fade away, leaving just the two of them. "I... I like you, Mattheo. I really do." The words tumbled out of her mouth, a mixture of relief and dread coursing through her.
The silence that followed was deafening. Mattheo's expression shifted, confusion giving way to disdain. "You're kidding, right?" His voice was cold, slicing through her with the precision of a thousand knives.
"What?" she whispered, confusion knitting her brows together.
"I'd never date someone like you. You're just... fat and loud. It's pathetic, really." His words struck like a whip, each syllable laced with venom. "I don't like someone so useless. You're unattractive, Y/N. I wouldn't dare."
Y/N felt as though she had been punched in the gut. The world around her blurred, her heart shattering with every insult he hurled. She turned on her heel, tears streaming down her cheeks, her breath hitching in her throat. She didn't look back.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Mattheo went on with his life, blissfully unaware of the consequences of his harsh words. Meanwhile, Y/N retreated into the shadows, the once vibrant Ravenclaw now a ghost of her former self. She became quieter, her laughter a distant memory. She spent her nights crying herself to sleep, her heart heavy with a pain that felt insurmountable.
Food lost its appeal; each meal was a reminder of her worthlessness. She began to hurt herself, trying to quell the emotional turmoil that threatened to consume her. Every bruise was a temporary relief from the heartache, a misguided attempt to regain control over her life.
Six months passed, and in that time, Mattheo noticed something was off. Y/N had faded into the background, her beautiful spirit dimmed. He had friends, laughter, and fleeting romances, yet an emptiness gnawed at him. It wasn't until he overheard a conversation among his peers that he truly grasped the magnitude of his actions.
"Did you see Y/N today? She was so quiet, it's like she doesn't even exist anymore," one of his friends remarked, chuckling.
"She's always been a bit of a joke, hasn't she?" another chimed in. "I mean, who could possibly like her?"
The laughter echoed in his ears, and realization struck like a lightning bolt. He had not only hurt her; he had contributed to a culture of cruelty that now surrounded her. Guilt flooded his veins, and he felt sickened by the thought of what he had done.
Determined to make amends, Mattheo sought out Y/N, but every time he approached her, she would look away, her eyes filled with sorrow and resentment. The walls she had built were impenetrable, and each attempt to talk only seemed to push her further away.
One day, as he walked through the Great Hall, he spotted her sitting with Luna Lovegood, her best friend. Y/N's laughter rang out, a sound so pure yet so foreign now. But it was quickly silenced by the giggles of their tablemates, who turned their eyes to her, their laughter cutting through her like glass.
Mattheo's heart sank as he watched the light in her eyes flicker and die. She shrank into herself, her smile vanishing, the laughter that once came so easily now a painful reminder of what had been lost. In that moment, he saw the truth of his actions laid bare—the pain he had inflicted, the confidence he had shattered.
Mattheo approached her table, his heart racing. "Y/N," he called softly, voice trembling with urgency.
She looked up, her eyes filled with a mix of anger and hurt. "What do you want, Mattheo?" she asked, her words sharp, a defensive barrier.
"I... I'm sorry," he stammered, the weight of his regret crashing down on him. "I didn't mean what I said. I was a jerk, and I can't take it back, but I want to try to fix this. Please, just let me explain."
Y/N shook her head, a bitter smile on her lips. "You think an apology can undo the last six months? You think I can just forget what you said?"
"No, I don't expect you to forget," he replied, desperation lacing his voice. "But I want to be better. I want to help you. I see what I've done, and it haunts me every day."
For a moment, silence enveloped them. The world around them faded, leaving only the two of them locked in a gaze filled with unspoken pain. Y/N looked away, tears glistening in her eyes. "You hurt me, Mattheo. You broke me."
"I know," he whispered, his heart breaking at her admission. "But I want to be here for you now. I want to make things right. Please, let me try."
Days turned into weeks as Mattheo worked to prove himself. He brought her small gifts, notes of encouragement, and a listening ear. He stood by her side when the laughter of others grew too loud, reminding her that she was not alone. Slowly, Y/N began to lower her walls, though the scars of his words remained etched deep within her.
It was a long journey, filled with setbacks and moments of doubt. But with each passing day, Y/N found her voice again, and Mattheo learned the weight of kindness and the power of words. He vowed never to let his insecurities manifest as cruelty again.
As they walked through the halls of Hogwarts, side by side, Y/N felt the warmth of hope flicker in her chest. The road to healing was uncertain, but for the first time in a long time, she felt like she could face whatever came next—with Mattheo by her side, ready to support her, ready to prove that love could rise from the ashes of heartbreak.
Together, they forged a new path, a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the enduring power of compassion.
**Author's Note: Remember, words can heal or break. Always choose kindness.**

FanfictionI will be putting warnings in all chapters, what house you are in, etc. I really am trying to make the plots good but I'm not very good at grammar. If I get an idea from a creator I will tag them. I change between "I" and "you" in different chapters...
