Author is unconscious after this chapter, she will directly wake up for the next update.😂

Took me a leap of faith to write this even if it is not 18+ (Sorry to disappoint you).

But putting jokes aside. The next update will be after 10 days since I have my exams again.

Let's try to cross 150 votes on this.🎯

*Nishtha's POV*:-

I stirred the flute glass in my hand gently, just to mix the flavours of orange and lime well. The mocktail was cool and refreshing, a perfect drink to enjoy after a spicy and hot thai noodles and soup.

My eyes swivelled around the opulent restaurant that mirrored the darkness of night that prevailed outside. Soft music was being played in the background accompanied by the gleeful laughter of my companions- Ekta and Meera.

Though the absence of my husband ran deep but it was just a matter of 3 hours, he would be back quick after the little meeting they had to attend.

The men, all of them had an important meeting with some local houses for business so we ladies decided to have our dinner without them and the restaurant of the hotel caught our eyes.

The dark volcanic theme with just hints of blue and shades of red made it a perfect place for composing hangouts and dinners.

And yes, it was not just the place but even the food that was equally great, excelling in both the departments- taste and quantity.

"Bhabhi aap phirse bhaiya ke khyaalo mein kho gayi ?,"
(Bhabhi are you still lost in bhaiya's
thoughts ?) the chirpy teasing from Meera made blood rush to my cheeks.

"Hayee mere Ranvijay ji, kaha honge, kya kar rahe honge, khana khaya bhi hoga ki nahi.,"
(Hayee, my husband, where might he be, what is he doing, has he even eaten ir not ?) Ekta teased more by enacting a lovelorn me but the way she said was hilarious and I for sure don't talk like that.

So I just swatted her on her shoulder and the two burst out laughing. Twirling the glass again I sipped on my juice and the bitter taste hit me hard.

"Is this for sure orange and lime juice ?," I asked the bartender for the second time to confirm as they even served cocktails here.

"Ye..yes ma'..ma'am.," he said but looked rather baffled, his face had turned pale and he was stammering.

"Bhabhi, stop observing him. The guy is getting uncomfortable.," Ekta patted my thigh and was pulled back to my senses. I blinked my eyes and looked back at the guy, his face had flushed and he wasn't even meeting my eyes now.

"Sorry, I did not intend to make you uncomfortable.," I apologised rubbing my nape.

"It's okay ma'am," the man muttered and ran away as if his tail had been set on fire.
