*THIRD PERSON'S POV*:-

7 am in the morning and the kitchen in the apartment seemed like it had just witnessed a war. The milk had boiled out of the vessel, the pressure cooker had burst after the water had evapourated completely. The burnt pancake smelled like dark chocolate and so did it's colour- dark brown at the centre with its ends turning black.

And at the enterance of the kitchen stood Ranvijay Rajput- the infamous hotelier who sucked at cooking.

He held the fork tightly, extremely cautious as he took a step towards the steaming pressure cooker. The whistle hadn’t blown since the past hour and the cooker was visibly shaking like a DJ and Ranvijay totally didn't know what to do about it.

And when he called his Nani Sa, the great Gayatri Devi replied- "Idiot the cooker is burning, throw it out."

Well Gayatri devi too hadn't stepped in the kitchen ever.

So Ranvijay called Khanna next. Poor man was still asleep after investigating until 3 am of night. Yet like a dutiful bodyguard he answered, drawling in his sleep, "Sir push the whistle up and it will blow up, resulting in removal of the held up pressure."

Ranvijay who had never practically done this was about to put theory to use. He approached the cooker as if he was checking up on a ticking bomb.

Stepping closer to the cooker like a spy on tip toes, the fork in his hand had just graced the whistle-

Pffffff !

-the whistle blew up with a shrill, sending Ranvijay 10 steps out of the kitchen.

His hands held his chest and his heart thud against his rib cage- he had just underwent a mini heart attack. His breath came out ragged as he stared at the cooker like it was his unannounced enemy.

Slowly the whistle stopped blowing and Ravijay's escalated heartbeat got in control.

He looked around the kitchen, embarrassed and annoyed at the mess he had made. "Costed me 1 damn hour," he muttered, strutting inside the kitchen and flicking off the switches of the gas.

"Fu*k it !," Ranvijay muttered amd turned off the main switch.

Dragging a hand down his face he looked around the mess in the kitchen.
