*RANVIJAY'S POV*:-

The hot coffee felt bitter to my tongue, even after adding two scoops of sugar to it. I dragged my hand down my face for the nth time, even put away the pile of files in front of me but rest was still miles away.

She was miles away. Not even at her family's house, that I could stand there and feel peaceful. My peace was miles away from me, my Nishtha was away and it was not even a week since she had left India.

And currently my life was sh*t.

Not a second of peace was available anywhere.

The office was haywire, the media houses speculating my hand in Karan's murder.

Well I had murdered that bas*ard and I did not regret a bit.

But Rudra and our laywers had handled the media well, they framed a strong range of proofs and empty presence to move the topic away from me.

And Karan's case was declared as dead because of the petrol leak from old machinery. My men were smart enough to poke a hole in a machinery, leave a trail of petrol around.

The men we had caught were coerced into telling that Karan wanted to restart the factory and for that he had requested the machinery to be moved.

My thoughts came to an abrupt halt when loud, hurried steps echoed from the hallway.

That's when a servant came to view, his breathes frantic, "Sir! Sir ! Ridha ma'am..she..she is having a pani...panic attack again !,"

The words hit me like a rolling boulder. My heart rate spiked up immediately, the world had narrowed down and all I could see was Ridha panting and gasping for air while she wailed out my name loudly.

I didn't wait for the man to complete.

Without another second of delay, I pushed away from the desk, running outside my roon before I could even process the words that followed. I was already on my feet, dashing towards Ridha's room.

My sister.

There was a time when she was the only person I couldn't bear to see in pain byt then she had gave pain to the love of my life.

After the kidnapping two weeks ago had left a huge impact on her mind. She had locked herself in the room, not speaking to anyone, keeping it to herself.
