*THIRD PERSON'S POV*:-
Ranvijay's heart crumpled like paper when he noticed a weary Nishtha return back home.
Her shoulder slumped and her footing slow but the spark in her eyes and the taut muscles of her faces screamed that she had not given up. She was just physically tired but mentally, she wouldn't give up without making Ranvijay gnash his teeth.
But was Ranvijay here to fight a war ?
Againt her he ? No.
With her.
He wanted to stand by her side as a pillar of his strength and her armour who protected her from the pain.
But what he missed was that Nishtha didn't trust this armour anymore- it had once given up on her when she needed it the most.
Ranvijay's knuckles turned white as he saw her enter the building complex, ignoring the greetings from Rosalind- she was turning cold, like the snow of Connecticut.
This had been his ruotine since the past three days- watching Nishtha waste her time in apartment hunting, unknown to her that he was warned every real estate agent from doing it.
If he wanted to keep her safe she had to be at eye's distance from him.
Ranvijay sipped on his tea as he scanned the area suspiciously, the wide street was bustling as usual. And suspiciously or surpringly no signs of Juliet Roses since the past week since Ranvijay arrived here.
It irked him. The sudden calm or the ease in the air of the city.
It made Ranvijay think- had the stalker really been laid off or was it just the calm before the storm.
Inhaling a sharp breath Ranvijay turned around, the teams had been working continuously working and communicating with the team in India to find some clue about the stalker.
"Any clues ?," Ranvijay asked.
His tone nonchalant, as if already preparing of the answer expected.
Khanna's head bowed down, his lashes almost shut off.
Ranvijay sighed in exhaustion. Another day and another dejection. The stalker was too sly and even welk connected to not get into picture at all. Ranvijay had put his best sources to use but all he received was circular turns.
"Did you connect to the flower sellers ? Botanists ?,"
"Yes sir, we connected to every seller who sells Juilet Roses in Maharashtra.,"
Ranvijay's ears perked up with expectations. Perhaps a new trail, something that could get him closer to the stalker.
"They don't have any regular customer for Juliet Roses and most of these botanists don't even grow Juliet Roses throughout the year. According to them since the flower is not a native to Indian sub-continent they don't even grow it throughout the year. The keeping of the flower becomes very expensive as it needs a specific climatic condition to develop. And the quality ma'am received was the too most, they were curated and fed well.," Khanna listed out.
