Asmodeus gently guided Elena through the shimmering corridors of his heavenly palace, whose walls were decorated with ornate frescoes depicting scenes from the history of the universe. Golden decorations adorned the arches and pillars, and the light streaming through the colorful windows bathed the room in a magical glow. The corridors stretched in endless directions, and yet every path seemed to lead them to a new wonder. Crystal clear fountains splashed in the corners, surrounded by lush greenery and exotic flowers that exuded their delicious scents into the air. Occasionally, colorful birds fluttered through the halls, their songs filling the room with cheerful chatter.

As they walked on, they came to a hall of breathtaking beauty, its ceiling covered by a sparkling starry sky. A soft whisper filled the room, the sound of angels' wings gliding gently through the air. A magnificent altar stood in the middle of the hall, its shining surface gleaming in the light of the heavenly spheres.

Asmodeus led Elena to a cozy area at the edge of the hall, which was furnished like a homey living room.

Soft cushions and carpets made of the finest velvet surrounded a cozy fireplace, whose flames burned warmly and invitingly. A large, antique bookcase stood against one wall, filled with treasures of knowledge from all corners of the universe. All around the room were personal touches that made it a home. Paintings and photographs of angels and people laughing and playing together adorned the walls. A piano stood in one corner, ready to play the melodies of the angels, while a shelf full of instruments provided the opportunity for everyone in the palace to express themselves musically.

Elena turned back and forth in the cozy room. Despite the darkness that surrounded her, she felt safe and secure here, as if the angels' love enveloped her and brought light into her heart.

"It's beautiful," she whispered, her fingers gently stroking the soft cushions.

Asmodeus looked at her with a smile, pleased with the company. She was not a difficult character, rather incredibly loving and endearing. "I'm glad you like it," he replied warmly as he gently took her by the hand and led her closer to the hearth.

They settled down together on the soft cushions and the crackling of the fire enveloped them in a pleasant atmosphere of comfort. Asmodeus sat down next to her and looked at her lovingly.

"Elena," he began gently, "I want you to feel at home here. This room is yours now and you can use it to calm down and recharge your batteries."

The young girl sighed softly, almost happily, if her face wasn't still shadowed with this slight sadness. She seemed to be taking her own death very well, but she was obviously still worried about her friend. "Thank you. I've never had a real home before. The floor feels so soft," Elena said, wiggling her toes demonstratively.

But suddenly a distinctive knock went through every room in the palace, announcing a visitor.

Startled, Asmodeus looked towards the large door, which was made of solid wood. It kept out any hostile souls. Slowly, he rose from the floor and patted Elena on the head to tell her he would be right back.
