The massive doors of the 'Incubus' towered before them like the gates of a palace.
The club's façade was clad in dark, polished marble that shone in the reddish glow of the flames of hell, giving the building a sombre yet majestic aura. Above the entrance, the club's symbol was emblazoned in glowing red letters, shining out into the night and attracting everyone's attention.
As they entered the club, they were greeted by a maelstrom of light and sound that immediately captivated them. The red light of hell mingled with the bright, colorful lights of the interior, bathing the dance floor and platforms in a kaleidoscopic play of colors. The atmosphere inside was electrifying, pulsating with energy and life. On these platforms, scantily clad women and men moved to the beat of the music, their bodies melting into a single rhythmic mass that sparkled and glittered in the light of the spotlights. The air was filled with a mixture of heavy perfume, smoke and the sweet smell of alcohol.
The dancers on the platforms were like living works of art, their bodies clad in provocative clothing that covered only the bare essentials. Two curved horns protruded from their foreheads, indicating that they were succubi. They moved smoothly and sensually, their movements with an irresistible allure that captivated every guest.
The club's interior was as impressive as it was luxurious.
Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, their sparkling lights casting a dazzling pattern on the dance floor. Velvet-covered sofas and armchairs lined the walls, while the bar beckoned with a variety of exotic drinks and spirits.
In the midst of this opulent ambience, Asmodeus and Soles felt like strangers in a strange world, but at the same time like part of a magnificent spectacle that was only possible in hell. The highest-ranking angels would never have allowed such an ambience. Not in this style and especially not in these skimpy costumes.
"Wow," Soles replied, his eyes wide with amazement.
Seohee, who had accompanied the two angels, had long since lost sight of them, as she had already gone ahead and probably hadn't expected the reaction of the two celestials.
The fallen angel turned to Asmodeus and said, "Seohee didn't tell me it was a strip club," he defended himself, fearing that the seraphim might lose his nerve. "According to what she told me, it was just a club she frequented with her brother."
So Benjamin was often here?
That was one of the many questions gathering in Asmodeus' mind. Another was what he was supposed to be doing here. "Must be something new," he muttered as his eyes glided uninterrupted through the interior of the club. It was impressive. Not just because of the lights and the architecture, but because of the atmosphere that prevailed here. "Should we - ... get a drink?" he nodded, pointing to the bar, behind which stood an interesting bartender in a very striking canary yellow suit. "Isn't that what you do here - ... drink?"
