When Soles and Asmodeus entered the hotel, there was a tense atmosphere between them. Soles' expression was dark and his eyes glittered with anger. His steps were quick and purposeful as he marched through the lobby without so much as a backward glance.

Asmodeus sensed the tense atmosphere between them and swallowed nervously. The anger emanating from Soles was almost palpable, and his heart began to beat faster as they marched through the lobby of the hotel. An uncomfortable feeling of trepidation spread through his chest as he wondered what Soles was up to and if he was going to get into trouble.

He didn't dare make a sound. Instead, he followed the fallen angel with quick steps, his thoughts whirling as he tried to prepare himself for what was to come.

He knew that he had fallen out of favor, that he had been naughty by not being obedient enough. And now he feared that he would be punished by not being allowed to see Benjamin.

Soles stopped beside the desk and exchanged a few quiet words with Seohee, then gave Asmodeus a withering look.

"Go to the room!" he ordered sternly.

Asmodeus bit his lower lip. Quickly, because he could no longer withstand the glare, he turned towards the elevator. When he reached it, he pressed the button vigorously.

He just wanted to get out of here.

A lump formed in his throat as he stepped into the elevator and dialed the number for his floor. He could only take a deep breath when the doors had closed and the elevator started to move.

His hands felt clammy and his stomach clenched with fear.

What would Soles do if he punished him for this?

And what would that mean for his hopes of seeing Benjamin again?

The elevator continued its slow ascent, while Asmodeus' thoughts kept turning in circles. He felt the weight of his own mistakes on his shoulders and could not shake off the unpleasant feeling of fear. When the elevator doors finally opened and he hurried down the corridor to his room, he could hardly bear the pressure in his chest. Every step he took seemed to drag him deeper into the darkness of his own self-reproach.

When he finally reached the door to his room, he hesitated for a moment before opening it. A feeling of emptiness and loneliness overcame him as he entered the room and slumped down on the bed. The silence around him seemed to suffocate him and he could hear the sound of his own heartbeat in his ears.

All he wanted was to see Benjamin, to cling to his warm embrace and feel safe.

But now that he had incurred Soles' wrath, even that small hope seemed a distant memory.

He didn't want to imagine what would happen to him. Not to think about what those two madmen were up to. He wanted to undo everything.

Change things.
