In the celestial realms, a storm is brewing, shaking the very foundations of divine order. In a world where the lines between good and evil blur and same-sex love is forbidden, a fatal tale of betraya...

When they arrived back at the hotel, Minho was once again standing next to the desk like an exhibit. It was strange to see this individual just standing there with one hand behind his back and the other in front of his chest. When the butler spotted Benjamin, he greeted him with a nod and let the hotel owner know that new souls had arrived.
A little further away stood Seohee and Soles, who had obviously been talking to each other. They also fell silent until the woman walked towards her brother.
"How is Tariel!"
"He'll survive, but Dad will have to make him a new wing," Benjamin informed her and turned to Asmodeus. "Sorry for the rush, but I have a few souls to take in. After that, I'll come to you and help you find this ... item."
"Thank you," Asmodeus said, before his gaze slid to the worried face of Lucifer's daughter. He wondered if she liked Tariel as much as he did and would have liked to ask her about it directly. But he also felt Soles' gaze on him and now that he knew about his hickey, he was uncomfortable facing him. "I'm pretty exhausted from the day."
Benjamin's eyebrows rose in surprise before he narrowed them slightly in concern. "If you want to lie down, you could go to the room in the meantime. Or relax in the pool area," he offered, but somehow he didn't feel particularly comfortable leaving Asmodeus alone.
"Maybe I'll lie down for a while," Asmodeus mumbled, rubbing the tiredness out of his eyes. He would much rather just get away from here. And possibly face his fever dream. "Have a good evening," he said before smiling softly and turning towards the elevator.
He could hear the voices at his back and how they grew quieter the closer he got to the elevator. Perhaps it was a little surprising that Soles hadn't tried to talk to him this time, but the day had seen more depths than any of them would have liked. Asmodeus stepped into the elevator and pressed the button for his floor. The doors slid shut silently and he felt momentarily shrouded in silence as the elevator glided slowly upwards. When it opened again, he stepped out into the corridor and realized that this hotel looked extremely empty, even though there were more sinners here than souls in heaven.
The room numbers shone in golden letters on the doors as Asmodeus walked past them until he finally stopped in front of his own room door. The door opened and the seraphim stepped into his hotel room, where he was greeted by the pleasant silence and comfort of the room.
His exhaustion made him want to simply lie down and close his eyes. He reviewed the whole day and his thoughts began to circle. He thought of the deceased girl and wondered whether she had already been assigned. He thought about Elena and whether she was all right. The visit to Lucifer had also upset him, especially because Tariel claimed to want to stay here.
All of this was a lot for the young angel.
But before he could lie down in his bed and fall asleep, there was already a knock on his bedroom door.
