Tariel floated lightly on a fluffy cloud high up in the sky, his golden camera firmly in his hand and a broad grin on his lips.
Because he had a plan.
A devilishly good plan.
He enjoyed the view of the glittering pools of water below him, where other angels and their souls gathered to bathe happily. With a playful twinkle in his eye, he turned the lens on the scene below him. The baths were divided into two groups. Male and female. The sexes were strictly separated so that intimacy and privacy could be maintained.
But not for Tariel.
The sun reflected sparklingly on the surface of the water as the individuals splashed happily and laughed with each other. Tariel could feel their joy and was determined to capture this moment of light-heartedness for eternity.
And their naked bodies.
With a practiced eye and deft fingers, he pressed the shutter button as he captured the angels and souls in their natural beauty and grace. Their radiant faces as well as a few shiny wings were a true muse for his lens, and he felt privileged to witness this heavenly moment. Each click of the shutter was like a declaration of love to the beauty of the sky and the joy of the angels who lived in it. Tariel knew that these photos were not just memories, but also works of art that captured life and love in heaven.
And so he continued his work, eager to capture every precious moment.
Until the cloud carried him on to his next destination. Tariel soared through the air, his camera firmly in his hand and his grin wider than ever. His plan propelled him forward, and he could hardly wait to capture more magical moments.
But before he could even reach the majestic waterfalls, a familiar voice interrupted his plan. "What's that, may I ask?"
At the mere sound of the slightly nasal voice, Tariel rolled his eyes and gave Asmodeus a sidelong glance. There was no mistaking the condemning undertone, but the descendant of the archangel Gabrielle just shrugged. "I'm taking pictures. You see," Tariel replied and took off from the cloud with a powerful flap of his wings, just to get behind Asmodeus. The loud snapping revealed that he had just taken a picture of the backside of the prettiest angel in heaven. "Man, your ass sure makes me a lot of cash."
Asmodeus turned to him with a slightly amused sigh. "As long as you don't sell it on the black market and end up in hell," he joked, because as a high-ranking angel, he had no idea about the black market. He was also sure that it didn't exist in heaven, but since there was someone like Tariel, he believed in miracles.
"Oh believe me, I don't need a black market. A lot of bitches here are after your ass," Tariel grinned devilishly, then let the camera disappear with a golden glow and turned his full attention to Asmodeus. "Since I doubt you want to join my hobby ... then what do you want with me here?"
