The head shot forward like a snake and the tip of the beak grabbed Soles by the left leg. The pain must have been terrible, because he screamed as he dangled in the air like a dead rat.

Head over heels, while his knee joint twisted unnaturally.

Benjamin, in his mighty dragon form, held Soles tightly in the grip of his beak as he continued to wiggle him upside down in the air. His eyes showed a blazing fire and they dripped with vengeance as he stared at the fallen angel with an expression of unbridled determination.

Those present were frozen in shock as they saw the brutal spectacle before their eyes. Asmodeus, Elio and even Lucifer himself were shocked by the sudden turn of events.

But Benjamin would not be dissuaded from his goal.

With little effort, he clenched his beak and severed Soles' leg. The bloodcurdling scream that rang through the entrance hall of the Inferno Palaces Hotel was deafening. Soles lost his footing, fell to the ground and would have landed awkwardly had Benjamin not extended his front claw within seconds and made the fallen angel disappear into it.

The scream was gone as quickly as it had appeared, and the red soup dripping on the ground between its claws dispelled any ambiguity.

An ominous silence filled the room.

Asmodeus froze as he took in the bloody image before him, his eyes widening in horror. A cold shiver ran down his spine as he realized what had just happened.

Soles was dead.

The reality of this shocking truth hit him like a hammer blow. His thoughts raced as he tried to grasp the consequences of this tragic event. Soles, the fallen angel who had once been his ally and friend and had then betrayed him like this, was gone. Crushed between Benjamin's claws.

It wasn't grief for the loss of a friend, but rather a mixture of relief and bitter regret. Soles, who had once been his best friend, had tormented him through a long series of betrayals and manipulations. The memories of their shared past, once so vivid and joyful, were now obscured by a veil of disappointment and betrayal.

Asmodeus fought the conflicting emotions inside him - the memories of the good times with Soles overshadowed by the bitter reality of their broken relationship. Despite everything that had happened between them, he couldn't deny that a part of him still mourned their former bond, even if he knew it was better that Soles was no longer a part of their lives.

Benjamin slowly turned around, his imposing dragon body filling the entrance hall with his majestic presence. His eyes, which had been blazing with anger earlier, were now surrounded by a hazy haze as he let them roam the hall. When his gaze fell on Lilith, a stab of pain shot through his heart. Their reunion was not what he had hoped for. The bond between them seemed to have broken over time, and the bond of family had faded to a thin thread. His gaze moved on to Seohee, his sister, who still stood there with an expression of superiority and arrogance. A feeling of disappointment and bitterness washed over him as he looked at her. The memories of their childhood together and the innocent times they had spent together were now obscured by a veil of alienation and betrayal.
