Before posting the article, Mark called his brothers.
He aimed to ensure that his closest vampires weren't angered that he was getting involved in such topics. It was dangerous to write about something that he was doing himself. What if one time he slipped?
However, both Taeyong and Jeno let Mark post it.
"First of all, you'll earn money," said Taeyong. "Second, the article is really pushing it all away from the vampires. Your Donghyuck is criticizing those vampire believers."
"You're talking as if we don't exist," Jeno interrupted the video call.
They liked video calling each other it was just that they couldn't see one another. No matter how modern today's phones are, their cameras still can't catch vampires' reflections. But, the vampires were working on it.
"Do we?" Taeyong chuckled. "I've never seen one with my own two eyes."
"That's how we should reply to all those comments on the internet," Mark laughed too. "Let's confuse people."
"That's why you should publish the article."
"Thanks."
Mark waited for the early morning and then hit the button. After that, he went downstairs to drink some spare blood. While sipping on the blood in the bag, Mark stretched and took care of his wrists. Just as he returned to check on how his article was doing, he already had views and ten comments.
Still, people in the comments belonged to different groups. Most of them started believing in vampires, but then another group of believers just appeared. Some people thought that this was happening because of air pollution. In short, many modern problems were thrown at the comment section, and after an hour people started replying to each other, creating chaos. Thanks to them, Mark's article blew up.

Mark didn't go out that often. It was his second time that week but wherever he went—a shopping mall or his favorite meat shop—people talked about Night Amnesia and marks on their bodies.
The vampire was uncomfortable when he heard a few men talking about how to kill vampires. Standing there in public, in the middle of the mall, they bravely exchanged several methods, loud enough for everybody to hear. From the way their voices sounded, Mark could see that they were joking, but it still scared him. Humans were scary in general.
When there were fewer people, their reactions were different too. One woman at the meat store told the staff to protect the meat from the vampires. Since it was bloody and all. She got called crazy and was asked to leave. Mark couldn't feel happier.
Even though most of the vampire believers were called crazy, they still shared their ideas and spread their theories further. Someone at the vamp group chat claimed that people go to see their doctors in the morning and do blood tests. This information leaked because one of the doctors was a vampire. He also added that some people noticed that their state after Night Amnesia was almost identical to the condition people get when they donate blood. Slight fatigue and sleepiness... When it was nearing the truth, a bunch of old people, who had never been bitten, dragged others who worked using computers or played games. They tried to convince everyone that Night Amnesia was happening because of too much staring at the screen.
Mark found some of the statements funny and hoped that most of the things would end soon. After all, humans get heated about one thing for a few days, then don't even remember it happening after a few weeks. However, as long as there was a group who thought vampires existed, the actual vampires had to stay low for some time. Or at least lessen the number of people with memory loss and teeth marks.
