ZOE'S POV
I just look at Tasha. Hindi ko na siya kailangan tanungin kung ayos na ba siya dahil bumabalik nanaman siya sa dati. Paano ko ipapaalam sa mga magulang niya kung siya mismo ay ayaw ipaalam? I don't want her to get mad at me but it's her parents right to know.
Kinabukasan, sabay kaming apat umuwi. Ako sa sasakyan ni Dione at si Tasha naman sa sasakyan ni Kian. Ayaw pa nga sana ni Tasha kaso pinilit din siya ni Kian. We're heading to our apartment. We decided na dun nalang muna mag stay at manood nalang ng movie. Umalis kami ng 3 dahil tanghali na kami na gising ni Tasha since super late na kami nakatulog.
Simula nung nangyari, hindi na tinantanan ni Kian si Tasha. Hindi ko naman siya pinigilan because I know that she's safe in his side. Kian and Tasha had past for years, but when it came to watching movies together, things could get a little heated. As they settled in for their weekly movie night, both of them had different ideas of what they wanted to watch.
“I was thinking we could watch that new action movie everyone's been talking about. It's got great reviews and I heard the special effects are really well done” Tasha worded out
“Ugh, no way. I am not in the mood for mindless explosions and cheesy one-liners. How about we watch that new romantic comedy instead? I heard it's hilarious.”
“Oh come on, not another chick flick. We always end up watching those sappy movies with predictable endings. Let's do something different for a change.”
Kian rolled his eyes, knowing that this argument was going to go on for a while. Nandito kami ni Dione sa kitchen habang nasa sala sila. We're preparing snacks para may makain kami habang nanonood. Tasha and Kian? As usual, they're arguing again about the movie to watch. I mean, lagi naman silang ganyan noon pa. Tasha doesn't like romance but Kian does. Kaya madalas sila mag talo kasi magkaiba sila ng gusto.
“Fine, let's compromise. How about we watch a thriller? It's got suspense, drama, and a bit of action. Plus, it'll keep both of us on the edge of our seats”
“It better not be one of those slow-burn thrillers that takes forever to get to the good stuff. I want action from the start” bored na sagot sakanya ni Tasha.
With their compromise settled, Kian and Tasha picked a thriller to watch. As the movie started, Kian began to get into it, while Tasha seemed a bit bored. Parang nandidiring nakatingin siya sa screen habang si Kian naman ay nakatulala. They look good together, ngl.
“You're not eating..” Napatingin ako kay Dione nang sabihin niya yun. Nakasimang0t siya habang kumukuha sa bowl ng ginawa niyang grahams. Natatawa akong tinanggap ang isinubo niyang grahams sakin.
“Are you ok? You're so quiet”
I chuckle before giving him an answer “I'm ok love, I'm just thinking...”
“What are you thinking?”
I'm hesitant sharing this thought to him.
“I'm your boyfriend Zoe, share anything that bothers you”
“Wow ha, feel na feel naman ang "boyfriend", entitled yan?” natatawang sabi ko.
“I'm serious, you're free to share anything”
Nag-isip muna ako bago nag salita.
“Nakita ko kasi si Tasha kanina umiiyak habang tumata—”
“Zoe we're eating!”
Natatawa naman ako sa mukha niya. Napatingin samin ang dalawa kaya napatigil ako.
“Why? You said naman na I'm free to say what I'm thinking diba?” seryoso kunyaring tanong ko.
