Chapter 15

Shawn's POV
"Thanks Shawn, you're a really nice friend." Paisley says in the middle of our hug, and my arms go limp. Just a friend, I guess she doesn't like me...

After I leave Paisley I decide to do something I would never do, I face time her friends. I really like her, she's perfect but she can't see it, and I want to be the one to show her.
Ring ring ring!
It connected on the third ring.
"Who is this?" A posh English voice says, the camera was off but I could tell it wasn't one of Paisleys friends, so I chicken out and end the call.
Oh god, what am I supposed to do?

Paisleys POV (NEXT DAY)
"I'm taking the dog for a walk, see you soon" I yell into the kitchen.
"Do you know where your going?" Wills mum Elizabeth calls back.
"If I'm not back in an hour send a search party!" I laugh and set out down the pavement. The 'Friday Feelings' come over me and I start singing and skipping, even though I had no idea where I was going. Shawn hasn't spoken to me since he left me last night, I just want to know why he's upset, we're going to meet the Magcon guys soon, so we need to sort this out.
"Watch out!" A boy around my age yells at me. In my happy mood I forgot to look where I was going and I skip straight into him and we fall over, including the dog.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to, I wasn't looking, are you ok?!" Verbal diarrhea splurges out of my mouth and the boy just laughs.
"Slow down, I'm fine! Wow, you're so cute, have we met?" He says while helping me up. I'm cute?
"No, I dont think so. Wait, are you Shawn's friend Peter?" I ask
"Oh, that's right, your Paisley. Shawn couldn't stop talking about you when he found out you were coming. Where is he?" Wow this boy is dreamy.
"Um... I need to go." I start walking off into an unknown area but Josh stops me. I didn't want to talk about Shawn, and Peter could tell.
"Are you okay? Do you want me to take you home?" He takes my hand confidently and the dog lead in the other.
"Thank you, I don't know where to go."
He flashes an angelic smile "Don't mention it."
I smile in return and pluck up the courage to ask him if he could talk to Shawn before we go to Magcon, and he agreed.

******************************7pm Paisleys POV
I still haven't heard from Shawn, so all I've done today is make dance vines, and to do that I have to use the spare room in Shawn's house. I'm guessing he wasn't in because his door hadn't opened.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!...
I had made the decision to join a group chat with the Magcon boys, and weirdly I'm getting a lot of attention.
Cam: I can't wait to be taught that Confident routine ☺
Matt: Cam, its mine!
Paisley: its none of yours x
Carter: oooohh, ITS SHAWNS!
Aaron: So cute lol
Jack g: They're gonna get it on...
Jack j: Sharing a room are they?
Paisley: Will you all screw your heads on! IM NOT WITH SHAWN!
Nash: We can tell you will be.
Shawn: Leave her alone, she obviously doesn't like me in that way, we're just friends
Paisley: Where have you been, I haven't seen u all day?
Shawn: singing in my room...
Paisley: Stay there x

I leave the group chat and run across the hall to Shawn's room and knock.
"Come in" he was sat down on his desk chair, his guitar at his legs and was quietly humming.
"Look, I'm sorry if I upset you last night, I don't know what I said. Please forgive me." I say, getting on my knees to beg. This wins me a little smile.
"Can we just forget about it?" He asks, still smiling. How could I ever say no to that?
"Oh thank god!" I squeal while getting up to hug him.
"Why are you so excited?" Shawn questioned.
"Because I don't want us not to talk. You always make me feel better about myself, and im grateful." I take his hand and he squeezes it.
"I'm so excited for New York in 2 days! I need to teach everyone a routine, and you could sing and we will all be laughing the whole time..." I ramble on about Magcon until I'm so tired that I can't speak. I could feel Shawn wrap his arms around me and pick me up, placing me in his bed.
"Goodnight Paisley." He whispers, and I swear he kissed the top of my head.
"Goodnight Shawn..." I mumble as he walks out of the room.
