Julietta POV
Running my hand over the fabric of my work in progress I zip up the garment bag. I had decided almost straight away that I would make my wedding dress myself convinced it was the only way to get exactly what I wanted.
I had also decided to keep it sstored with the rest of the wardrobe stuff so that Damian couldn't peek at it.
Carefully I slot the bag back in between the rest of the clothing on the rail.
"Is that the dress?" A voice asks and I turn to see Phil smiling warmly at me
"Yeah it is but I'm not showing you" I smile "i know you, you'll tell Damian and spoil the suprise"
"I am offended you would think that" he laughs placing a hand over his heart and making me laugh
Falling in silent but with the warm smile still in place he walks over to me and wraps his arms around me kissing the top of my head.
"You ok?" I ask hugging him back
"Yeah, I just wanted to give you a hug" he says "I can't remember the last time I just hugged you. I also wanted to say that I'm proud of you. I saw the photos and how truly happy you are. You may be my baby sister but you've grown into an incredible woman and I know you will be an amazing mother because you have so much love to give. I know I haven't said it anywhere near as much as I should have but.......I love you Jules"
"I love you too" I say as tears start to fall "and now you've made me cry you big oaf" i say playfully slapping his back making him laugh.
"Hey what's wrong what's happened?" Rhea asks entering the room "do I need to kick Damian's ass?"
"No I'm good" I laugh
"You know I should kick both your asses for not pointing out what I missed" she says "but I'm far too happy for you both, congratulations and out me down for God mother" she says giving me a hug
"Thankyou" I say "and of course who else would we ask"
"So am I getting a nephew or a niece?" Phil asks
"We find out next week" I smile and you will both be the first to know"
"Oh. When Damian said you had a boys name picked I thought you'd found out you were having a boy" Rhea says
"No it's just for some reason we can only come up with boys names" I shrug "we just can't agree on girls names"
"Could be a sign" Phil says
"Yeah mini D coming right up" Rhea laughs
"Maybe" I smile "to be honest just lately I've found myself wishing the this pregnancy away so that I can finally marry him.......is that bad"
"No...............he's doing the same thing" Rhea says
"I know you want baby involved but you could always do a vow renewal later and have them involved with that" Phil suggests "you both clearly don't want to wait, so why wait"
"He really doesn't want to wait?" I ask and Rhea nods "then maybe it's something we need to discuss"
"Who needs to discuss what?" Damian asks "and have you been crying?"
"Oh yeah, Phil said he loved me and my emotions got the better of me" I laugh "and we need to discuss our wedding"
"Please don't tell me you've changed your mind about marrying me" he says taking me in his arms
"Never" I smile "it just seems that neither of us want to wait so..............why wait"
"You've been feeling that way too?" He asks and I nod "Alright I'll call the place see how soon they can fit us in and then we will go from there"
"Sounds good to me" I smile as he pecks my lips "oh and Rhea finally figured it out"
"Took you long enough" he laughs "it's not like you to be so slow"
"Laugh it up Priest I may just change my mind about kicking your ass" she smiles
"Hey now it wasn't just me who said nothing" he says
"No but Jules is pregnant" she says "you're not"
"Take it easy" he says "nobody needs their ass kicking"
"For now" Rhea says "but only becuase you need to sort out your suit, wrote your vows and make that phone call"
"Damn I forgot we were writing vows" he says "I wouldn't even know where to start"
"Well mine are written so you better have something to say on the day" I laugh "after your proposal I don't think you will struggle once you put your mind to it"
"I will help you" Phil says "come on let's go get started"
I watch as Phil guides Damian out of the room and I can't help but wonder what they will.come up with between them both. I hadn't been entirely honest though my vows are only half done because I too am struggling with what to say
"Now they are gone..........how much have you really written?" Rhea asks
"I'm half done" I say
"Don't worry between us we will finish them" she smiles "now how is the dress coming along"
"Really well" I smile "once we have a date I can make adjustments for my bump and the I just need an accent colour for the Ivory"
"Well he does love purple" she says "or what about gold to fit in with the setting of the location?"
"Or a bit of both" I say "Rhea you are a genius"
"Enough of a genius for you to tell me the gender before Phil?" She asks
"Sure" I laugh "as soon as we know we will call you first"
