"The names Luke Hemmings, you'll know it pretty well though." He smirked.
"Ava Brooks, you won't be hearing from me though." I retorted and walked away with Charlotte.

"Dude, that was so awesome! He thinks he can get anything he wants and the fact that you stood up to him like that is so awesome." Charlotte fist pumped. I just smiled. We walked around more, already familiar with where everything was and went back home.
I flopped onto my bed and sighed. Tomorrow was the first day of actually class and I just wanted to sleep.
"So what was your family like?" Charlotte asked curiously.
"Well, my parents are both lawyers and they're really strict. I have an older brother who already graduated medical school and became a doctor. They want me to become a lawyer too but I want to major in Art." I sighed sadly.
"I think you should prove them wrong and major in Art. Maybe you'll make it big and then you can show them that you're successful." Charlotte smiled.
"I was in the same position. My sister graduated with honors and became a professor at Oxford. My parents always favored her more than me. When they found out I wanted to be a cosmetologist, they said that I wouldn't amount to anything." Charlotte was determined to prove her parents wrong and give a big "thanks for nothing" when she become a well known makeup artist and hair dresser.

My sleep was interrupted by the annoying sound of my alarm that I had named "WAKE UP IDIOT" because I knew I wouldn't be able to get up in the morning. I sighed almost about to hop of my bed, forgetting that it's not my bed at home and that I need to get down by a ladder. Charlotte was woken up by my alarm and was already getting dressed. How was that possible, I don't understand.
I washed my face and put on a black sweater and some black skinny jeans, tugging on my combat boots. I brushed my hair quickly and ran out the door with Charlotte, knowing we'd be late if we wasted anymore time.
My first class was Honors Science and I knew my professor was strict from all the comments online. I had researched about all my professors and he was by far the scariest. I walked into the class and looked at the tables, looking for a free seat. I had 2 more minutes until class actually began so I sighed with relief that I wasn't late.
I sat next to a girl with dark hair and green eyes. She was reading a book, waiting for class to begin. She looked like she didn't want to be bothered so I just scanned the class. The door opened and I saw 4 walking nightmares enter the classroom. I ducked my head down, trying to act like I hadn't seen them, and hoped they hadn't seen me.
My wish wasn't granted when they all sat behind me. I stiffened up and felt their eyes on me. They began chatting and trying to get my attention and the girl next to me got annoyed by the boys and moved to sit in the front. I wanted to yell for her to come back and not leave me with these idiots but one of them slid into the chair she once occupied. I looked up and sure enough it was Luke Hemmings- wonderful.
He smirked at me "I guess it's fate for us to keep meeting like this." I scoffed at his attempts to flirt with me.
I was about to give him a snide comment but the professors voice boomed, "I am Professor Cunningham. This is a Deoxyribonucleic acid- better known as DNA. You will read 15 chapters of your textbook, make me an exact model of DNA, and write a 22 page essay including the differences between DNA and RNA in detail, synthetic biology and its origin, Systematic technology and how it is used today, systems of nonlinear partial differential equations and the application to biology and engineering, abstract synthetic biology, DNA synthesis and protein engineering, and the importance of systems of biology in engineering microbes for biofuel production. You will have a partner, the person sitting next to you and this will be 60% of your grade. You don't hand this in at exactly 8:00, you fail my class. This project is due next month." My jaw almost fell to the floor and I wanted to hit my head on the table. What a cruel world we live in.
Luke turned to me and said "Well then, I'll see you later for this project." He smirked, giving me his phone while I saw him typing in mine. Wait, when did that happen?! I typed my number in and gave him his phone back. He handed me mine and winked at me. I got up and left the class, He and his pose walked out of the class, all looking at me. I rushed to the bathroom and looked at my phone. He put his contact name as :
Luke<3

I sat through the rest of my classes, taking notes and I had 15 minutes before 2 o'clock so I ran to my room to get supplies and walked to the cafe. I saw Luke and he waved at me. He threw his arm around my shoulder "Hey babe. You ready to go?" I nodded before saying "Don't call me babe."
