"Hey, babe, where were you this morning?"
"Have I got a story for you."

I told Luke everything that happened and told him to let me handle it. "I'm going to pretend like I think he's better then I'll tell him I never want to speak to him ever again." I smiled, a glint of mischief in my eye.
"I like the way you think, Brooks." Luke said, slinging his arm around my neck and kissing me.
After he pulled away I said, "I'll go to the crêpe shop. I'll make him think I'm buying into his little plan and then I'll crush him."
"Sounds like a plan. Let's get on my bike and go." We left the house and walked over to his motorcycle. I climbed on after him and put on the second helmet. I wrapped my arms around him and we sped down the fairly empty street to where Nathan and I usually meet.
Once we arrived, I got off the bike, told Luke to wait about five minutes and walked inside the shop. He smiled, "Glad to see you again, Ava!" I fake smiled, "You too!" I pretended to seem like I was somewhat into him.
"So, I wanted to say that I thought about what you said and you were right. Luke isn't a good boyfriend, i'd rather have you." I pouted, keeping up the act.
"Well, I'm happy you see it my way. Alright baby, when are you free?" He smirked, feeling accomplished with his scheme.
My smirk turned into a straight face.
"Never and you're fücking stupid for thinking I'd ever leave Luke, someone so amazing for the likes of you. You are a manipulative piece of trash and I never want to see you again. Ever." I said firmly, sliding out of the booth and leaving the shop.
"Wait! Ava! I thought we had something!" He yelled, jogging after me out of the shop.
I was already on Luke's motorcycle and he was revving the engine. "Come on babe, let's leave the miserable bastard to himself." Luke said and we sped off, leaving Nathan's sorry ass behind.

Luke took me out a few days later. It was our four year anniversary. I wore a white dress with gold details and we went to a stunning restaurant. I looked around at all the fancy decorations as we checked in.
"Table for Hemmings, please."
"Yes, right this way, Mr. Hemmings." The lady escorted us to our table and we sat down. A waitress came over to us, "Hello, I'll be your server tonight. What kind of drinks would you like?"
"We'd like some champagne, please."
Luke answered with a small smile, looking at me. I smiled and the waitress asked, "And what would you two like to eat?"
"I'll have the steak and for the lady, the chicken alfredo." The waitress wrote it down and left, coming back with two glasses and a bottle of champagne. "You're food will be ready shortly."
"Thank you, miss." Luke nodded and turned to me. The waitress left and he poured us champagne.
"A toast to old relations and goodbyes." I raised my glass.
We clinked out glasses then I took a sip of the sparkling drink.
"I also have a toast. To new beginnings and us. Happy anniversary, love. I love you." Luke said, and we drank more.
The night went by and we talked for two hours. The restaurant was lit with glimmering crystals and fairy lights strung everywhere. I was so happy, I felt light and feathery.
"I'm so lucky to have you. I'm so grateful to be able to call you my girl, Ava. Thank you for all you do and all the times you stuck with me." He said, smiling and then kissed my hand that he was holding from across the table.
"I'll always be there for you. I'll always stick with you. I'll always be your girl, Luke."
