Seetha

As I reached the front entrance of our neighbor's house, still blushing slightly at what he had done inside the room, my eyes landed on Mama and Elangovan sir. They were seated together, engrossed in a conversation with the others.

Mama noticed me and smiled warmly. I returned his smile and took a step towards him, but before I could reach him, my parents arrived and asked if we should leave.

With a reluctant nod, I agreed, though my heart wasn't entirely in it. Just as we were leaving, I caught sight of Aayush sir. Unable to resist, I playfully winked at him before walking away not before casting a pleading look at my junior, the younger sister of the mother-to-be, who was seeing me with a wide smile.

Ivaru'naala junior pullainga kitta'laa kenja vendiyadhaa irukku. Perumaaley!

(Because of him, I have to plead with my juniors. God!)

Once we arrived home, Appa questioned me about the training task. I confidently explained the task planned for the upcoming week, for real. Although I hadn't informed Aayush sir about it beforehand, he had somehow managed to skillfully blend truth with a lie when speaking with my parents.

To my surprise, they not only believed him but also suggested, on their own, that I could visit Aayush sir's house if I had any doubts.

Suppressing a grin, I nodded in agreement before retreating to my room.

After freshening up, I pulled out the invisible magic paper. The markings had deepened to a richer purple hue since the last time I saw them.

Pressing my lips together, I stared at the paper with a tinge of sadness before deciding to distract myself. I began searching for romantic movies to watch with him tonight for the first time and eventually settled on Roja, a classic by Mani Ratnam, sir.

First time maniratnam sir movie paaka poren. Aiyoo!

(First time, I'm going to watch a Mani Ratnam sir movie. Wow!)

Grinning at the thought, I let myself drift off into a deep sleep for the entire evening. Later, after dinner, just as I was about to turn invisible, a new idea struck me. Without hesitation, I picked up my phone and dialed Aayush sir's number.

"Hello"

I heard his voice, and in a soft whisper, I said,

"Hello.. odane kelambi enga'aathu pinnaadi irukka thottathukku vare'laa?"

(Hello... Could you come quickly to the garden behind my house?)

"Aathu pinnaadi irukka thottam'ah??"

(The garden behind your house?)

He asked, sounding a bit confused.

"Aama"

(Yes)

"Yedhukku?"

(For what?)

"Nekku inniku invisible aagi vara pudikala, professor. Adhaa.. naan pinnaadi valiyaa varen. Aana angerndhu epdi thaniyaa unga veetukku varadhu? Company kudungo"
