Knight Terrors

chapter two. (divide and conquer)

Roger knew exactly how he could use his sons new companion to his advantage. He knew the teenage girl would give anything to find out where her father had ran off to not because of her missing him and wanting him back, but to question him as to why he was so okay with leaving her family without saying so much as a word. Amelia's dad was the bread winner of the Roberts family and when he disappeared he left his supposed loved ones with nothing, the girls mother would work multiple jobs while trying to spend as much quality time with her daughter as possible.

The monster called Mia into his office and proposed her an offer, he would tell her about her father's whereabouts and pay to send her to Cranford private school if she would do him a favour in return.
Amelia was to turn her friendship with his son into a romantic relationship and keep Reece on a short leash by separating the siblings, the redhead looked mildly disgusted but eventually agreed despite her hesitance. Reece agreed to Mias relationship proposal with little to no persuasion and soon the two of them became inseparable.

Mia had pretty much moved in by the time the pair were eighteen, Roger approached the red haired girl with yet another promise saying he was certain about the location of her dad this time. She was to put a note in his daughter's locker one which asked her to go to prom with Kyle Killaman, a boy who was heavily featured in Auts diary. Roger however had asked the young boys older brother Kenny if he would be so kind and take his sweet daughter to prom, the adult man had agreed with no questions asked so now all the monster had to do was put the last part of his plan into action, get Reece to learn about his baby sisters adult date.

Prom night was in full swing, Reece had discovered what was going down and stormed out the house in a fit of rage. Roger placed dead flowers by the front door and had instructed Mia to follow his son to see what he had gone to do, if the monsters plan worked out in his favour Reece would do something drastic, something illegal that could get him in a lot of trouble and Mia was to witness the attack and promise her boyfriend she wouldn't tell a soul. The night moved slowly for Roger as he watched the front door through the cameras, not once exiting his office. The door knocked and a very excited sixteen year old Autumn ran down the stairs in her prom dress ready for the evening she had been anticipating for a while now. As she opened the door her eyes met with her older brothers, dead flowers in his hand.
