Marjorie was everything Reece had ever wanted, she was the only person able to make him smile by just existing. He loved the way she was still learning that she could be herself around him, it made him feel so very special. He loved how she spoke with her hands and how they would become more animated when she was passionate about the subject she was talking about. He loved how she could make a room light up with just her presence. He loved her, he was in love with her, he loved everything about her.
The two were married and living together, just them, always. Autumn and Winter would sometimes come round, Reece was elated to have his baby sister back in his life not to mention how ecstatic he was to be an uncle. He had everything he had ever dreamed of, the things he had expected to experience in a loveless relationship with Mia. That relationship was something he never wanted to live through again, not because it was bad but because it was empty.
Reece had never imagined getting married to someone he loved deeply yet with Marjorie it was everything he had ever wanted and more. He would forever remember seeing her walk down the aisle, she looked ethereal. He had never seen someone so beautiful in his life, the tears that filled his eyes were happy something that had never happened to him before. How could he be so lucky, what did he do to deserve this.
Their relationship had started in a very unconventional way, it started with a complete lack of trust due to the blonde man's past and Mia certainly didn't help with that.
Reece had one thing he was unable to say, three words he had only ever said to his mum. He had never said them to Aut, his dad or even Mia in the twenty years they'd been together. I love you. He loved Marjorie, of course he did, yet he couldn't say it. Charlotte had noticed and pulled him up on the matter to which he finally accepted help, accepted the thought of opening up and talking to someone.
I love you was said, finally. He may have said it accidentally but it felt natural. It shocked Marjorie when he said it yet he could say it again and again. He loved saying it. He loved Marjorie and he could tell her that whenever he wanted to now.
He felt free from all he had endured in the past, he could say I love you, he had his sister and he had the love of his life. He wanted to be Marjorie's forever, she was his missing part, she was his soulmate and a life without her in it was one he never wanted.
