Roger couldn't help but feel a sense of pride within himself after watching his plan play out just as he had hoped, his children were no longer talking and he now knew a new tactic to keep Reece on a short leash. The monster knew Mia wasn't happy in her relationship with his son yet now knew that when it would inevitably end he could convince the red haired woman to blackmail Reece into staying with her. Dead flowers was all it was going to take, he knew Mia wouldn't disobey him for all she wanted was her dad's location, a location only Roger was aware of.

The family homes dynamic was now a mess, if you could even call it a home at that point. Mia and Reece would be locked away in one room while Autumn would stay huddled in hers, reading her way few what must have been hundreds of books. Roger stayed as his usual narcissistic self.
Just as the monster had predicted it wasn't long before Mia and his son broke up yet the woman did exactly as she was told after having a nasty encounter with Roger who had now become a sort of puppeteer to the young woman, using her to do his bidding in every way that he possibly could. A parcel soon arrived at the family homes door, wrapped up and addressed to none other than Reece himself.

Roger watched as his son opened the carefully wrapped package and smiled as he witnessed Reece's face turn white in an instant. The blonde quietly stepped outside, the door closing behind him as he ran to the bin chucking the parcel in and sheepishly looking around to make sure no one had seen. The monster watched him eagerly as Reece reached into his pocket grabbing his phone which was ringing relentlessly before getting into his car in a hurry.

The blonde man sat in his car listening to his phone ring over and over, eventually he answered reluctantly. Mia convinced Reece to get back together with her, telling him as long as they were together his secret would be safe. Truthfully the red head was never going to say a word whether she was with him or not. In her opinion the blonde's actions were justified, an older brother wanting nothing more than to protect his baby sister. Reece drove to Mia's house and picked her up before turning around, heading straight back to his.

The young couple retreated to Reece's bedroom, once they were back and the blonde helped his girlfriend get settled in once again before going to shower. Mia checked her phone noticing a single new message, it was from Roger. The woman had been instructed to meet him in his office once Reece was asleep as to not let him notice her absence, she hated being around Roger without a witness yet knew if she didn't go the consequences would be worse than whatever he wanted to see her about.

At around eleven that night, Mia snuck out of her boyfriend's grasp tiptoeing through the house doing everything in her power not to make a noise. She arrived at Roger's office, knocking lightly on the door waiting for her invitation to enter. The monster let her in and instructed her to sit, he began lecturing her for allowing her relationship with his son to get to the point where its end was inevitable. The red haired girl had began to cry, Roger was shouting more and more getting angrier by the second. That was when it happened for the first time, his hand swung back and he slapped the young woman hard round the face. Mia's crying stopped and her whole body went into shock, the monster stood infront of her told her that if she muttered a word about what just happened the consequences would be threefold the next time.
