Chapter 13

Huening Kai collapses on his bed, snuggling with his huge bunny plushie that Soobin lifted him, totally in a fair way. He'd been home for around 20 minutes already but his excitement from his date hadn't went down at all. He began to reminisce about the events that happened, the games, the rides, the confession...He couldn't help but bury his face in the bunny plushie and kick his feet think about the confession. Oh my god...I'm dating Soobin... It only hit him now of his new relationship but he was beyond happy. He felt a buzz in his pocket, knocking him out of his thoughts and going to check the notification

Huening Kai couldn't help but squeal but he quickly stopped since he didn't want Taehyun to barge in. He took a deep breath before responding.

He subconsciously smiled at the thought of seeing Soobin again tommorow but he figured he should sleep soon if he wants tommorow to come sooner. Never thought I'd be this excited just to go to class...

Yeonjun and Soobin made it to class early like usual but Yeonjun notices something strange. Soobin was smiling a lot more than usual and he seemed in an overall better mood. As they took their seats, Yeonjun nudged the younger to get his attention.

"I assume your no longer a single man as your promised?" Soobin nodded quickly, not even making an attempt to hide his happiness.

"Yeah, I still can't believe he said yes I haven't been this happy in forever..." Soobin trailed off smiling. Yeonjun pat him on the back.

"I'm glad you didn't wimp out because oh my god you guys were taking forever to just date." Soobin scoffed at him remark, earning a chuckle from Yeonjun. Before they knew it, Taehyun and Huening Kai walked in, to which they sat in their groups from last time, putting the new couple together. Not even one second later, they were already in their own world.

Taehyun leaned toward Yeonjun, "They started going out huh..."

"Yep..."

"God they only sat together for less than a second and they're already flirting," Taehyun sighed as he rested his head on the desk. Finally Beomgyu made it to class and took a seat next to Taehyun.

"They started going out huh?" Beomgyu figured from their more clingy than usual behavior. Taehyun responded with a sigh and a nod but they decided to move on quickly and continue their project.

Soobin took no time on clinging to the younger, holding his hand and resting his head on his. Huening Kai nudged him.

"As much as I like being near you, don't you think we should started on his project?" Soobin pretended to think about it but quickly shook his head.

"Nahhh, just five more minutes, please?" He looked to Kai with pleading eyes and unfortunately the younger couldn't refuse.

He sighed before he spoke up. "Fine, but only five minutes okay?" Soobin smirked in victory.

"Thanks for spending time with me as a boyfriend,"

Huening Kai chuckled and gently hit Soobin's arm. "Why'd you word it like that? Don't people just say 'Thanks for spending time with me.'"

"Maybe, but you're my boyfriend no? And there's no way we're going back to just friends," Soobin said as he nuzzled his head on Huening's.

Kai begin to feel slightly flustered by the older's words and his clinginess. "Never knew you were quite the romantic,"

"I thought we figured that out on our last date" He winked.

"I- oh whatever-" Kai chocked out, trying yet again to not become a flustered mess. Safe to say they barely got work done during class

Class comes to an end and came the time for the couple to part ways. Taehyun, Yeonjun, and Beomgyu were able to leave early since they actually got work done and they wanted to give the new couple time to themselves.

"Ok Soobin I'll text you later okay?" the younger said while picking up his notebooks. The older nodded.

"I'll be waiting, see you tomorrow love," He gave a gentle kiss on Huening Kai's cheek and waved him goodbye. God that man is such a flirt...he thought to himself as he left the classroom. As he was walking, he heard someone behind him.

"Hey! You're Huening Kai right?"

He didn't recognize the voice so he turned around to see a man. He seemed mysterious and almost resembled a black cat. He walked closer to the younger, looking at him with a gaze that made him feel nervous.

"Uh...yeah, can I help you...?"

He smiled but not a friendly one. "Oh I should introduce myself how rude of me, I'm Wooyoung and I think it's time we had a little chat." His words felt far from apologetic

Kai frowned and looked at him with confusion. "About what?"

"You're Soobin's boyfriend right?" He said walking slightly closer, his intimidating presence almost becoming overwhelming. 

"I- yes I am, but how do you know him?" he asked cautiously.

Wooyoung gave a small laugh before answering. "Him and I go back a long time since we had the same occupation."

"Occupation?" The younger questioned.

"Wow he really hasn't told you huh? I guess you hardly know him,"

"What are you talking about?" 

"Ever wondered why he has bandages or bruises?"

He suddenly remembered seeing Soobin his bandages on his arm and his face but brushing it aside. "I guess so...but he said he fell,"

Wooyoung scoffed. "You really believe that? God you're naive..."

Huening Kai huffed in offense but he couldn't argue since Wooyoung spoke up. "Let's just say that this boyfriend of yours made a selfish choice and if you stay with him, your gonna be the one getting hurt,"

Kai's breath hitched slightly. "What are you trying to say..."

"I'm telling you to break up with him or not only will he face or the consequences of his actions will not only rain on him but on you too."

Kai took a step away, his thoughts racing. "Why are you doing this?? What did Soobin do that's so bad??"

"I suggest you ask him yourself, now I have places to be but I'll be back to see if you follow though." He took a step closer, standing inches away from the younger.

"I'm feeling generous so I'll check up on you in 2 days, if I were you, I'd think seriously of my warning." He gave Kai firm tap on his shoulder and walked away, leaving Kai by himself lost in thought. He couldn't help but feel conflicted.

What am I supposed to do...
