"Mum? Why are we walking towards the Weasleys house?" Scarlett asked feeling a pit in her stomach as the Weasley house came into view. Being around George was easy but the whole Weasley family kind of terrified her.
"Don't worry Letty we aren't staying there, we are just leaving with them."
"I'm so confused, please explain what is going on. Where are we going?"
"All in good time." Her mother replied mysteriously
Scarlett gave up, knowing she wouldn't get a proper answer, she wasn't the master at getting her mother to talk, that was always Cedrics role. The memory of her and Cedric celebrating in their room when they were 7 because Cedric had managed to get their mum to reveal some of the presents they were going to get for Christmas played in her mind. She couldn't help but let out a slight giggle at the memory but it was accompanied by a single tear.
Mrs Diggory knocked on the door and they heard scuffing and Mrs Weasley shouting "They're here, they're here."
Scarlett and her mother looked at each other and smiled as they waited for the door to open. When Mrs Weasley opened the door she welcomed them with a smile and hugged Mrs Diggory "Kate, Scarlett we're so glad you're here."
She quickly switched to hugging Scarlett before picking up their bags and gesturing for them to go inside. When they walked in Scarlett's face lit up at the sight of George who was standing by the door smiling excitedly at her arrival. He quickly took her into his arms and hugged her tightly, she whispered in his ear "I really needed this."
"Do you want to talk about it in private?"
"Yes please." she replied smiling at his reassuring voice, taking him all in, finally feeling a little bit at peace.
--------------
Scarlett and George were sitting in his room kissing when Fred walked in horrified at view he was welcomed with
"Eurgh why on my bed?" he said as he pushed them off and grabbed some of his stuff.
"Sorry Fred, I thought sitting on your bed would be safer than sitting on Georges." Scarlett apologized
"I can't help it, I just want to be close to you my little bird." He said pulling her onto his lap
"I don't blame you Scar, I know it's my cringe ball of a twins fault." Fred replied but instantly regretted using the T word as he saw a small and quick wince from Scarlett. Worry and pity began to bubble inside him and his eyes gave away what he was feeling.
"When are you going to stop looking at me like that Fred?"
"Like what?" Fred protested trying desperately to hide the pity and act innocent.
"Like I'm going to breakdown when you mention you and George are twins, it happened one time and in my defense it had only been a few days."
"I'm sorry but you look a little hurt everytime you hear the word."
"That's because I'm reminded that I didn't score the handsome twin." She teased as she winked at Fred before kissing Georges cheek. It was the perfect joke to bring the mood back up and reassured him he hadn't messed up too badly.
"I never thought of it that way Scar. If only Georgie hadn't called dibbs on you first. We would have been the couple of the century." Fred joked smirking at his brother as his normal laid back and playful side took hold again.
"Are you two done yet? I'm glad you two are getting closer but does it really have to be at my expense?" George whinged
Scarlett kissed George and wrapped her arms around his neck before saying "I'm sorry Georgie you know I don't mean it. You'll always be the best looking Weasley in my eyes."
