As the students filed into the classroom, Ishan was still feeling the butterflies from the stolen moment shared with Shubman. He began preparing for his lesson, but couldn't help stealing glances at Shubman who was sitting with Abhishek, who had taken their usual seats at the back.Throughout the class, Shubman's gaze remained fixed on Ishan. His eyes roamed over the young teacher's face, taking in every nuance, every expression. Though they couldn't express their affection openly, the intensity of Shubman's stare said everything.
In between the class, Abhishek suddenly whispered, "Tera hi maal hai kitna ghurega," catching Shubman off guard.
Shubman looked at him, stunned. "Tere Ko Jese pata chala?"
"Me and Mayank saw you and Ishan sir in the park yesterday," Abhishek replied bluntly, a smirk on his face. "There was definitely more than just talking going on."
Abhishek leaned in close to Shubman's ear, whispering loudly enough for only him to hear, "You two were making out like there was no tomorrow. I've never seen you devour someone like that before."
As Ishan was teaching, his voice steady yet captivating, Shubman leaned toward Abhishek and whispered, "Tell Mayank not to spill anything about what he saw yesterday in the park."
Abhishek turned slightly, raising an eyebrow. "Relax, dude. Mayank won't tell anyone. You're safe," he reassured him.
Shubman nodded, but his expression shifted to a pointed glare as he added in a low voice, "But you? You didn't bother telling me you're going on a date? Some best friend you are."
Abhishek stiffened and looked away awkwardly, trying to focus on Ishan's lecture. "It's not like it's a big deal," he muttered under his breath.
Shubman smirked and leaned back in his chair, his attention returning to Ishan at the front of the class. "Better spill everything later," he said, his tone teasing but firm.
As the class wrapped up and the students filed out, Ishan stayed back, tidying his desk. Shubman, being the last to leave with Abhishek, turned just before stepping out. With a mischievous smirk, he threw a flying kiss toward Ishan.
Ishan froze for a moment, his cheeks turning an intense shade of red as he quickly turned away, pretending to arrange some papers. Shubman chuckled, thoroughly enjoying the reaction, and walked out with Abhishek.
As they strolled toward their next class, Shubman nudged Abhishek playfully. "So, Mr. Romantic, spill it. What's the deal with you and Mayank? How'd you get him to agree to date you?"
Abhishek scratched the back of his neck, his face flushing. "It's not that big of a deal..." he started, but Shubman shot him a knowing look that made him sigh.
"Fine," Abhishek relented. "One day, we were just hanging out after school, and...I don't know, I felt like I needed to tell him. So, I just confessed. Told him I liked him and didn't expect anything back."
Shubman raised an eyebrow. "And he just agreed like that?"
Abhishek nodded with a small smile. "Yeah. He said he'd been waiting for me to say something for a while. It was...kind of perfect."
Shubman grinned, giving Abhishek a playful punch on the arm. "Well, well, look at you, the silent Casanova. Guess you're not so bad at this romance thing after all."
Abhishek laughed softly. "What about you and Ishan sir? You guys seem pretty..."
"Don't even start," Shubman interrupted.
Abhishek smirked, crossing his arms as he walked alongside Shubman. "Why not? If you want to know about my dating life, then spill about yours too. I'm sure you've got a lot to share," he teased, his grin widening. "Especially by the way you were kissing Ishan sir in the park yesterday."
