It was getting late, the stars now scattered across the velvet sky as the four made their way back to the resort after a hearty dinner at the beachfront restaurant. The soft hum of the sea was replaced by the quiet of the resort corridors as they reached their floor. With sleepy smiles and soft goodnights, both couples parted ways and disappeared into their respective rooms.

Inside their cozy room, Ishan dropped their bags neatly to the side as Shubman walked in behind him, already loosening his shirt. Without a word, Shubman wrapped his arms around Ishan from behind, resting his chin on Ishan’s shoulder with a tired sigh.

“I’m too tired to change… let’s just sleep like this,” Shubman mumbled, sounding like a whiny child.

Ishan rolled his eyes with a fond smile and lightly swatted Shubman’s arms. “Don’t be lazy, Shubu! There’s beach sand stuck everywhere. We have to wash up or we’ll mess the bed.”

“But I’m sleepy,” Shubman huffed dramatically, burying his face into Ishan’s neck.

Ishan laughed softly, pushing him off playfully. “Go clean up first. You’re the one who kept rolling in the sand like a wild child.”

Grumbling under his breath, Shubman dragged his feet toward the washroom like a sulking kid. Ishan just shook his head with an amused smile, already setting out their clothes and towels.

After both had cleaned up, the warm scent of the resort’s lavender body wash lingering faintly on their skin, Shubman and Ishan made their way to the bed, their movements slow and content after a long, playful day. The soft sheets welcomed them as they slipped under the covers, the moonlight filtering gently through the curtains.

Shubman immediately snuggled into Ishan’s side, burying his face into the crook of Ishan’s neck. His voice came out in a low whisper, laced with a sweet, sleepy tone.
“You looked very, very cute today.”

Ishan giggled shyly, his cheeks turning pink. “You also looked good today,” he mumbled, brushing his fingers softly through Shubman’s hair. “As always.”

Shubman chuckled and pressed a loud smooch onto Ishan’s cheek, grinning at how the sound made Ishan scrunch his nose adorably.
“One day you’ll kill me with your cuteness, you know that?” he said with mock seriousness.

Ishan hid his face in Shubman’s chest, flustered. “I’m not that cute… you just exaggerate too much.”

Shubman pulled back and gave Ishan an utterly offended look. “Excuse me? Have you ever looked at your own face in the mirror?”

Before Ishan could respond, Shubman launched into a dramatic yet sincere monologue.
“First of all, your doe eyes? Dangerously adorable. Your smile? Literal sunshine. That pout you make with your juicy lips when you don’t get your way? Illegal. And don’t even get me started on how unfairly cute your laugh is. But—at the same time—you have the audacity to be hot. Like, unfairly hot. That ass? Those thighs? Your little mischievous looks when you’re teasing me? Criminal. Criminal, I tell you!”

Ishan was a blushing mess by the time Shubman was halfway through. He hid his face under the blanket and whined, “Stop ittt, Shubman!”

Shubman finally laughed and gave in, hugging Ishan tightly again, pulling him close.
“Fine, fine. But just know you’re mine. Too cute for your own good.”

Ishan giggled under his breath, cuddling into Shubman’s chest as the night settled around them, warm and full of love.

It was a warm, breezy morning at the beachside resort. The golden sun filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the rooms as all four slowly got ready. After a quick breakfast and some teasing exchanges—Shubman refusing to let go of Ishan’s hand and Abhishek dramatically tying Mayank’s shoelaces claiming he was his “loyal servant”—they finally gathered in the lobby, dressed in comfortable vacation fits.
