Jiang Fan, having acquired the Super Overview of Physics, returned to his residence and immediately began working on an SCI paper in physics.
With the experience gained from his previous three SCI papers, he chose a relatively easier topic, one likely to be accepted.
Given his current grasp of physics, he was confident that, with a bit of refinement, getting his paper approved would not be difficult.
As the minutes passed, Jiang Fan quickly entered a state of deep focus— a flow state that amplified his efficiency by threefold.
His fingers flew across the keyboard, each keystroke resembling a dance, the rhythmic tapping filling the room.
Time slipped away unnoticed.
By the next day, Jiang Fan had completed a full draft of the physics SCI paper. The speed at which he accomplished this astonished even himself.
He then approached Long Lao, presenting the paper for review.
Long Lao, puzzled, raised an eyebrow.
"Jiang Fan, weren't you working on an astronomy paper just a few days ago? Was it too difficult?"
Long Lao had assumed that Jiang Fan had abandoned the astronomy paper due to its complexity.
"Professor, the astronomy paper is already finished, reviewed by Professor Ma, and submitted."
"Submitted already?"
Long Lao was taken aback. Jiang Fan had no background in astronomy. How could he have possibly finished a paper and submitted it within such a short time?
"Did Professor Ma have any feedback?" Long Lao asked.
"He said the submission should be fine," Jiang Fan replied candidly.
"Well, then."
Long Lao paused before reluctantly conceding. The more he interacted with Jiang Fan, the more enigmatic he seemed.
But Long Lao knew that everyone had their secrets, and he didn't press further.
As long as Jiang Fan wasn't involved in anything disloyal to the country, Long Lao wouldn't interfere.
Such a genius, after all, shouldn't be held back by unnecessary constraints.
Long Lao glanced through the physics paper briefly and found no issues.
"Jiang Fan, physics is not my specialty. Let me call in Director Han from the Physics Department at Long Ke University to take a look."
Soon, Director Han Changfeng arrived, respectfully greeting Long Lao.
No one at Long Ke University would dare to ignore Long Lao, not even President Lu.
Han Changfeng, after reviewing Jiang Fan's paper for about half an hour, spoke with excitement.
"This is quite a good paper!"
"If submitted to a physics SCI journal, it should be accepted without issue," Han Changfeng affirmed.
"Long Lao, you didn't write this, did you?"
"Although I know a bit about physics, I couldn't write such a paper," Long Lao chuckled.
"Then, who wrote it?"
"This paper was written by my student, Jiang Fan!"
Long Lao proudly introduced Jiang Fan to Han Changfeng.
"It's quite impressive," Han Changfeng complimented Jiang Fan.
"Thank you, Director Han. There are still many areas where I need to improve," Jiang Fan humbly responded.
"Jiang Fan, you're not a student in the Physics Department, are you?"
Han Changfeng asked, his curiosity piqued. As the head of the Physics Department, he kept track of outstanding students, particularly those with a natural talent for the subject.
"I major in Space Science," Jiang Fan answered.
"Space Science? Such a waste! With your talent in physics, you're bound to achieve great things in the future.
Would you be interested in transferring to our Physics Department? The scholarships here are the best at Long Ke University!" Han Changfeng tempted.
"Little Han, are you trying to poach my student right in front of me?" Long Lao quipped, not holding back.
"Long Lao, how could I? You don't even teach Space Science!"
"Enough, this paper is flawless. Does it need any revisions?" Long Lao asked, turning to Han Changfeng.
"No revisions needed. It's already perfect," Han Changfeng replied decisively.
"Well then, you're free to leave now," Long Lao said.
"Long Lao, are you really going to toss me aside after using me?" Han Changfeng grumbled, fond of Jiang Fan's talent and genuinely wishing to recruit him to the Physics Department.
"You're trying to steal my student right in front of me!"
"I'm just eager to find talent..."
"Enough, stop your nonsense. Go back to where you came from!"
Long Lao promptly ushered Han Changfeng out.
With the approval of Han Changfeng, the head of the Physics Department, Jiang Fan felt a surge of confidence and submitted the paper to a physics SCI journal as advised by Long Lao.
With that task completed, Jiang Fan felt a weight lifted from his shoulders. Now, only the SCI papers for chemistry, biology, and information science remained.
When Long Lao heard that Jiang Fan was planning to write an information science paper, he couldn't help but twitch his old face.
This student of his was determined to complete SCI papers for all the major courses, and nothing would stop him!
But as his teacher, Long Lao had no choice but to help.
So, Long Lao called in a professor from the Information Science Department to guide Jiang Fan.
Jiang Fan asked the professor to recommend several key textbooks, and using his Hundredfold Learning Card, he quickly mastered the material.
The professor then proposed a topic, and Jiang Fan wrote, with the professor offering guidance along the way.
After two days and nights of tireless effort, Jiang Fan completed the most challenging information science SCI paper!
This achievement excited him greatly, with only chemistry and biology papers left to tackle.
However, his Hundredfold Learning Card had expired, leaving him somewhat concerned about these remaining subjects.
Although he understood the basics of chemistry and biology, he wasn't an expert, and writing SCI papers on them seemed impossible.
With no better options, Jiang Fan decided to study the books carefully and take his time.
Once he had finished his work, he visited the hospital to check on Li Ailan and was relieved to see that she was recovering well.
On Friday afternoon, as Jiang Fan was reading his chemistry textbook, his phone rang.
It was his girlfriend, Chu Ruoxi. He quickly answered.
"Ruoxi!"
By now, Jiang Fan was able to say her name naturally.
"Xiao Fanfan, are you busy?" Chu Ruoxi asked playfully.
Hearing her voice, Jiang Fan felt a sense of relaxation wash over him.
"No, not at all!"
"Oh! It's been almost a month since we last saw each other, and you didn't even think to ask me out!"
Jiang Fan had indeed been too busy lately. The past half-month was spent in intensive research on lithium iron phosphate batteries.
Then, to complete the system's task and obtain the ITER magnet material blueprint, he had spent the following days and nights writing SCI papers.
They had only been able to video chat occasionally.
Originally, he had planned to visit Chu Ruoxi after finishing his papers.
Just as Jiang Fan was about to speak, the system's voice echoed in his mind.
"Ding, dating task triggered..."
