International Forum!
Country D: I just took a glance at Longkan and found that Dragon Country has only published four SCI papers!
Country Beautiful: Haha... this is hilarious! Four SCI papers in the first issue—this must be the most pitiful journal in Blue Star history!
Country Sakura: There must have been no submissions, haha...
Country Beautiful: Dragon Country is even worse than I imagined. I'm just waiting for them to bow down and apologize to our academic community. Heh heh...
Country F: Our World Mathematical Organization is also waiting for Dragon Country to beg for mercy, heh heh...
Country Beautiful: Don't worry, they'll definitely apologize publicly to us, haha...
Country Beautiful: Dragon Country has always been a bunch of weaklings. This time, we'll make them pay the price before we lift their academic blockade!
Country F: Exactly, we gave them three days to apologize publicly, but instead, they announced the creation of Longkan. Now the World Mathematical Organization will teach them a lesson!
Country Kimchi: I'm going to see what nonsense those Dragon Country folks are writing in their first issue!
Country F: Do we even need to look? It's definitely going to be trash of the highest order!
Country Sakura: I can't even be bothered to look; it would pollute my eyes!
...Many international scholars disdainfully entered Longkan's official website, ready to mock. Meanwhile, numerous Dragon Country scholars were also entering, eager to see whether the first issue of Longkan would defy expectations and make a breakthrough.
As soon as the clock struck 9:00, the number of visitors to the Longkan website began to steadily rise. By 9:30, it had surpassed 100,000! The countries still mocking Dragon Country in the international forum were gradually becoming fewer. Many scholars from all over the world were now reading the SCI papers published by Longkan.
Country Sakura: Has anyone returned from Longkan? Report back on how garbage it is!
Country Beautiful: Little brother, haven't you gone to check it out?
Country Sakura: A journal from a country with such a low academic standard? I'm not interested. I'd rather watch my country's romantic films instead!
Country Beautiful: Good choice, stick with me and I'll make sure you live a life of luxury!
Country Sakura: Alright, big brother!
Country Beautiful: Why is no one else talking?
Country Sakura: Who knows? Maybe they're all too disgusted to say anything! Haha...
Country Beautiful: Haha...As Country Beautiful and Country Sakura continued to mock Dragon Country, a scholar from Country D spoke up.
Country D: I read one of Longkan's SCI papers, and for some reason, I actually thought it was quite good!
Country Beautiful: Pfft! Are your eyes failing you? If Dragon Country can write a good SCI paper, I'll eat my own waste!
Country Sakura: If Dragon Country can write a decent SCI paper, I'll stand on my head and eat my own waste!
The scholar from Country D began to doubt his own judgment and decided to revisit the Longkan website to check the next paper.Meanwhile, in academic groups across Dragon Country, discussions were buzzing.
Group Member 1: I strongly recommend you all read "The Law of Conservation of Cell Membrane Area and the Unequal Ion Equation"—it's absolutely brilliant, not inferior to SCI papers from Western countries!
Group Member 2: You've read it too? I thought it was fantastic! I learned so much from it. I never expected such top-level academic work to come from Longkan. Incredible!
Group Member 3: After reading this paper, I'm completely convinced. I used to be upset when my submission was rejected by Longkan, but after comparing, I can only bow down to their standards!
Group Member 4: With this kind of SCI paper published in Longkan, there's no doubt that our country's SCI journal is going places. Long live our nation!
Group Member 5: While this paper is amazing, I highly recommend you all check out "Electron/Nuclear Coupling Motion"—it'll blow your mind!
Group Member 6: Can it really surpass "The Law of Conservation of Cell Membrane Area"?
Group Member 5: It will open up a whole new world for you!
Group Member 6: Really?
Group Member 7: I've read "Electron/Nuclear Coupling Motion," and it's absolutely amazing...
Group Member 6: I'm going to check it out!By 11:00 AM, the Longkan website had reached 200,000 visitors. The technical department staff were astonished by the number, as their research had shown that the world's top SCI journal SIAM Review only had a peak of 250,000 online users. Yet, Longkan had already reached 200,000, only 50,000 away from matching that peak.
Despite anticipating significant traffic due to the global attention, they had only expected a peak of around 200,000 users. To their surprise, the peak had come so quickly, just two hours after Longkan published its first batch of SCI papers.
Normally, website traffic fluctuates—people enter and leave continuously. When a site reaches a peak, the numbers tend to stabilize. However, most of the visitors to Longkan had not left, causing a continuous increase in traffic.
Just as the technical department thought they had reached the peak, a sudden surge brought the number of users to 220,000.
"Supervisor, the number has reached 220,000. Should we report this to Mr. Cheng?" a technician asked.
"No need to. We're only at 22% of our total capacity. Don't forget, our servers can handle up to a million users! Even if we have more than expected, it won't impact the overall performance," the supervisor confidently replied. As long as the numbers didn't reach one million, the system would remain stable.
International Forum:
As Country Beautiful and Country Sakura continued their mockery,
Country Beautiful: Where are the people from the other countries? Dragon Country has only published four junk SCI papers, and it's been two hours—they still haven't finished reading them?
Country Sakura: I can't stop laughing when I think about Dragon Country's first issue with four garbage SCI papers! Haha...
Country Beautiful: Those four papers were probably cobbled together from random sources. I honestly didn't know they had the courage to create Longkan—they're just asking for trouble!
Country Sakura: This is what we call nozuonodie—if you don't ask for trouble, trouble won't come to you!Country D: I suggest you go check out those four papers from Longkan.
Country Sakura: What's the point? It's just four garbage SCI papers. What's there to see?
Country Beautiful: I think we should take a look and see the decline of human SCI journals.
Country Sakura: Big brother's right. Let's go see for ourselves!Soon, both Country Sakura and Country Beautiful logged into Longkan's official website.
