Title: "The Unspoken Connection"
Chapter 18: A Conversation
The weekend had arrived, and Rhea was determined to spend her days off without thinking about Aryan. She woke up early, got ready, and started her day with her usual morning routine.
As she went about her day, Rhea found herself thinking about Aryan, but she quickly pushed the thoughts aside. She didn't want to get distracted by him.
The day passed quickly, and Rhea went to bed, hoping that the next day would be better.
But little did she know, the next day would bring a surprise. Rhea woke up, did her morning routine, and checked her phone. She was shocked to see that Aryan had seen her WhatsApp status at 1 am.
Rhea was startled. She couldn't understand why Aryan was awake at 1 am. She felt uneasy for the whole day, wondering what to do.
Finally, in the evening, Rhea gathered her courage and texted Aryan.
"Hey Aryan! Would you mind if I ask you something?" Rhea's message read.
Aryan replied after an hour, "Yes?"
Rhea continued, "Please don't take it seriously. And don't mind if I ask you. I'm just asking it as your friend. Please don't get offended."
Aryan replied, "Ok. But what's the matter?"
Rhea asked, "Ah, I have just checked and I saw that you have seen my status at 1 am in the morning. Don't your parents scold you?. Plus you are always the first one to check my status.😂😁"
Aryan replied, "No, I was studying at that time."
Rhea said, "Oh!"
Aryan asked, "But why would I be offended by this?"
Rhea replied, "Actually you have a shy nature that's why I was asking."
Aryan chuckled and said, "I'm not that shy."
Rhea and Aryan continued their conversation, discussing school and their favorite subjects. But suddenly, Aryan said something that caught Rhea off guard.
"Our biology teacher is so stupid," Aryan said.
Rhea was taken aback. She had never heard Aryan use such strong language before.
"Aryan, please don't use such words," Rhea said gently.
Aryan immediately apologized. "I'm sorry, Rhea. I didn't mean to say that."
Rhea forgave him. "It's okay, Aryan. Just be more careful with your words."
The conversation continued, and Rhea thought that the matter was closed. But two hours later, nearly at 10:35 pm, Rhea received another message from Aryan.
"I'm really very sorry, Rhea. I said such a word in front of a girl," Aryan said.
Rhea chuckled and replied, "Arey, it's okay. If you used it, I haven't created an issue for that."
Aryan apologized again. "I'm sorry, Rhea. It's my fault, and I said it in front of you."
Rhea reassured him. "Aryan, it's okay. Don't feel sorry about it. I just wanted to correct you."
Aryan smiled, feeling relieved. "Thanks, Rhea. You're a great friend."
Rhea smiled back, feeling happy that she could help Aryan. "Anytime, Aryan. That's what friends are for."
