The days passed, and exams approached. Everyone was busy in their preparation. Rhea was too lost in her studies that she didn't realize that she had now started to forget Aryan. Their first exam was of Physics! She had prepared well for it and did well in the exam.

After returning home, she was a bit busy than her classmates, as she was the only one having her math exam the very next day. The rest of her class was not having a math exam; they were having a holiday in between. Rhea started her preparation.

Then the next day approached, and it was her math exam. She was a bit scared of it, but still did her best in it. She returned home with relief, knowing that the very next day was her English exam, and it was a bit easy, so she could start preparing in the evening. Meanwhile, she could take a nap, as she had been sleep-deprived for some days.

She sat in her cozy bed with her blanket on her and suddenly realized, "It's been 4 days, and no update from Aryan." Rhea spoke in her mind. She then just let his thought pop out of her mind, as for now, studies were her priority.

She opened her WhatsApp and was surprised to see that Aryan had already sent her a text message 1 hour ago, saying, "Hlo."

Rhea's heart skipped a beat as she replied, "Hey!"

"How are you doing?" Aryan asked.

Rhea felt a sense of excitement as she replied, "I'm doing good, what about you?"

"How's the exam?" Aryan asked.

Rhea's face flushed as she replied, "It was good."

Aryan responded with, "What a relief."

Rhea sensed that Aryan cared for her. She felt a sense of gratitude towards him for his kind words.

"I was asking 'cause that day you told me that for your math exam, time is less, and syllabus is more," Aryan explained.

Rhea felt excited, thinking that Aryan remembered every little thing about her. It had been almost 10 days ago when she told him about this.

"Thanks for your concern," Rhea replied with a smile.

Aryan reacted with a smiling face emoji, "😁."

"What about Physics?" Aryan further asked.

Rhea replied, "It was cool."

She further said, "It's been 3 days straight that I haven't got sleep more than 2 hours."

Aryan advised her, "Now you can take a rest, as tomorrow is our English exam, and it's easy."

Rhea sensed that Aryan cared for her. She felt a sense of gratitude towards him for his kind words.

"No, I have to complete the syllabus. Again, I'll be studying the whole night. And you won't believe that today, while writing my paper, I was feeling a bit dizzy, and was about to sleep, but then I saw my math teacher there, and my whole dizziness went away😂. I don't think sleep is in my luck!!😅," Rhea said.

Aryan shared a funny incident too, "Oh yaar (~an Indian word used for a friend), on the day of our Physics exam, he came as our invigilator. He checked everybody's pockets for slips but not mine. Maybe he thinks that I am a Topper student 😅😎."

Rhea laughed and replied, "What's the thinking in it, you are really a Topper 😂."

Aryan humbly said, "I don't study that much🙃."

Rhea teased him, "You do. Now go, you should also study 😂."

Aryan jokingly replied, "No, I'll not study."

Rhea playfully said, "Okay, as your wish."

Aryan sent her a pouting face emoji, "😤."

Rhea asked with concern, "Did I offend you?"

Aryan reassured her with a simple, "No."

He further added, "You won't believe that my mother always scolds me, saying that I don't study when exams approach."

Rhea replied with surprise, "Oh, it's not possible that Aunty would say something like this to you."

Aryan shared, "No, it is true, and it's happening. Even now, just 1 hour before, she scolded me. It's been 10 years I've been listening to this."

Rhea encouraged him, "Oho, then go study."

Aryan shared his feelings, "But it's true, yaar, my parents never said that I am studying well."

Rhea comforted him, "Oh, don't worry, they will surely say one day."

Aryan expressed his doubts, "I don't think so....."

Rhea reassured him, "Hey, one day, surely they will say this to you with proudness. I feel this."

Aryan felt a sense of relief wash over him. "Oh, it's a relief that someone thinks this way for me. 🥳"

Rhea reacted with a smiling face emoji, "😊."

Aryan then further texted her that he started all this focus and concentration on his studies after being a failure. His parents were about to withdraw him from this school. He started to do hard work in his studies and finally did well. He said that he made some of the mouths shut and some are left.

Rhea encouraged him, "It's good for you. Career should always be our priority. Continue with your hard work. 😉."

Aryan replied, "I'm sorry, I wasted your time. I know you must be thinking that I must be writing a lot."

Rhea teased him, "But in class, you barely speak." 😂. Go and study. By the way, best of luck for tomorrow's exam."

Aryan replied, "You also go study, your time is important too."

Aryan reacted with a heart eyes emoji, "❤️."

Rhea reacted with a melting face emoji, "🫠."

They both went to study, but Rhea couldn't shake off the feeling that Aryan's behavior had been unusual. She sensed that he cared for her and was happy to know about her preferences and thoughts.

As Rhea drifted off to sleep, she wondered what next mystery was about to happen with her. But little did Rhea know, Aryan's behavior was only the beginning of a series of events that would change everything between them. The mystery that Rhea had sensed was only the tip of the iceberg, and she was about to uncover secrets that would leave her breathless........
