Chapter 15: Mixed Emotions - I
Rhea woke up with a mix of emotions - confusion, anger, and disappointment. She couldn't understand why Aryan had been absent the previous day, and why he hadn't even bothered to ask her about the homework. She felt like he was ignoring her, and it hurt.
As she got ready for school, Rhea tried to push aside her feelings and focus on her studies. She reminded herself that she couldn't let Aryan's behavior affect her academic performance.
When she entered the classroom, Rhea's eyes scanned the room for Aryan. And then, she saw him - sitting in his usual seat, looking as calm and composed as ever. But what caught Rhea's attention was that he didn't even glance in her direction. It was as if she was invisible to him.
Rhea felt a surge of anger and hurt. Why was Aryan ignoring her? Didn't he care about her feelings? She tried to calm herself down, reminding herself that she couldn't let Aryan's behavior affect her.
Just then, Zara walked into the classroom, looking stylish and confident. Rhea noticed that Aryan's eyes locked onto Zara, and he couldn't help but stare at her. Rhea felt a pang of jealousy and anger. Why was Aryan so interested in Zara?
Throughout the day, Rhea tried to focus on her studies, but she couldn't help but notice Aryan's behavior. He didn't even glance in her direction until the last two periods, when he suddenly started staring at her. Rhea felt confused and frustrated. What was Aryan trying to do? Was he playing with her emotions?
Rhea's anger towards Zara also increased. She felt like Zara was trying to steal Aryan's attention, and it was working. Rhea tried to remind herself that she couldn't control Aryan's behavior, but she couldn't help but feel hurt and jealous.
As the day drew to a close, Rhea felt exhausted and emotionally drained. She didn't know what to make of Aryan's behavior, or why he was suddenly so interested in Zara. All she knew was that she felt hurt and confused, and she didn't know how to process her emotions.
As she walked home from school, Rhea couldn't help but wonder if she was just a third wheel in Aryan and Zara's lives. Maybe Aryan didn't really like her, and he was just being friendly. Maybe it was all just a curiosity, and Aryan didn't really care about her feelings.
Rhea felt a lump form in her throat as she thought about the possibility of Aryan not liking her. She tried to push the thoughts aside, reminding herself that she couldn't control Aryan's behavior. But she couldn't shake off the feeling of hurt and rejection that had settled in her heart.
