Chapter 16: Mixed Emotions - II
Rhea woke up to a new day, feeling a sense of determination. She had decided that she was going to ignore Aryan throughout the day, no matter what. She was tired of his mixed signals and the way he made her feel.
As she got ready for school, Rhea noticed that Aryan had seen the chemistry notes PDFs she had sent him. But what caught her attention was that he hadn't even bothered to reply with a simple "thanks." Rhea felt a surge of anger and hurt. Why was Aryan so careless with her feelings?
She thought about how Aryan had time to talk to Zara on Instagram, but couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge her messages. Rhea felt like she had wasted her time on him, and that he had affected her mental state a lot. She was a bright student, but now she couldn't concentrate on her studies because of Aryan's thoughts.
Rhea decided that she was going to ignore Aryan throughout the day. She wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of getting a reaction out of her. She was determined to move on and focus on her studies.
As she reached school, Rhea felt a sense of resolve. She was going to ignore Aryan and move on with her life. But as she settled into her seat, she noticed Aryan walking into the classroom. He was giving her a bright smile, and for a moment, Rhea's resolve wavered.
She looked at him for just two seconds before quickly looking away. She didn't want to give him the satisfaction of getting a reaction out of her. But as the day went on, Rhea couldn't help but feel Aryan's eyes on her. She sensed that he was still staring at her, trying to get her attention.
Rhea tried her best to ignore him, focusing on her studies instead. But it was hard to concentrate when she knew that Aryan was watching her. She felt like she was being pulled in different directions, her heart and brain at war with each other.
As the day went on, Aryan started cracking jokes loudly, trying to get Rhea's attention. Whenever he cracked a joke, Rhea would look at him, and then quickly look away, trying to ignore him. But Aryan didn't give up. He kept trying to get her attention, and Rhea found herself getting more and more frustrated.
She didn't understand why Aryan was behaving this way. One day he would ignore her, and the next day he would be all over her. Rhea felt like she was getting whiplash from his mixed signals.
As the day drew to a close, Rhea felt exhausted. She had been trying to ignore Aryan all day, but it was hard to do when he was being so persistent. She just wanted to go home and forget about the whole day.
But as she was packing up her things, Rhea caught Aryan's eye. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable. Rhea felt like she was being pulled into Aryan's orbit, and she didn't know how to escape.
As she walked out of the classroom, Rhea felt like she was in a daze. She didn't know what to make of Aryan's behavior, or how to process her own feelings. All she knew was that she felt confused and frustrated, and she didn't know how to move forward.
As she walked home, Rhea couldn't help but think about Aryan. She wondered what he was thinking, and why he was behaving this way. She felt like she was stuck in a never-ending cycle of confusion and frustration, and she didn't know how to escape.
Rhea's heart was telling her to hold on to Aryan, to keep hoping that he would come around and realize his feelings for her. But her brain was telling her to let go, to move on and focus on her own happiness.
As she walked, Rhea felt like she was being torn in two different directions. She didn't know what to do, or how to process her emotions. All she knew was that she felt lost and confused, and she didn't know how to find her way again.
As the sun began to set, Rhea finally reached home. She felt exhausted and emotionally drained, like she had been put through a wringer. She just wanted to go to bed and forget about the whole day.
But as she lay in bed, Rhea couldn't shake off the feeling that she was stuck in a rut. She felt like she was going around in circles, unable to move forward or make any progress. She didn't know what to do, or how to escape the cycle of confusion and frustration that she was stuck in.
As she drifted off to sleep, Rhea felt like she was losing herself in the process. She was so focused on Aryan and his behavior that she was forgetting about her own happiness and well-being. She knew that she needed to control her feelings but she couldn't.
