(Y/N) drifted through a dark void, his feet feeling the cold, murky water beneath him. The silence was broken only by distant, intermittent drips that rippled through the darkness, amplifying his unease. He walked aimlessly, his heart pounding in the oppressive quietness. Confusion swirled in his mind as he tried to recall how he'd arrived in this strange place.

A faint sound echoed from behind him, the water moving with unseen motion. (Y/N) turned around, searching for the source, but nothing revealed itself. Just as he took another step forward, something icy clamped down on his ankle. Startled, he glanced down, spotting a pale, ghostly hand that had emerged from the water, wrapping around his leg.

"Eh?" he muttered, his confusion deepening. But before he could react, another hand appeared, latching onto his other ankle with an unyielding grip. Panic shot through him as he felt the force tugging him down, pulling him off from his balance. He fell forward with a splash, landing on his stomach in the chilling, freezing water.

"Hey! Let me go!" His voice trembled with fear as he struggled against the hands, which held his legs firmly in place. But no matter how hard he would resist, those restrains would not budge. His heartbeat quickened, the icy hold of dread taking root in his chest.

"(Y/N) ..." A dark, sinister voice echoed through the void, sending a chill down his spine. He froze, recognizing that voice immediately. His face paled to the same shade that the hands had as he slowly lifted his gaze. The dark water parting just enough to reveal the dripping black hair and the piercing, serpentine eyes of Orochimaru.

"O—Orochimaru..." The child stammered out, his voice barely audible. The face in the water twisted with a fury (Y/N) had never seen before. Orochimaru's pale features contorted with rage. His voice boomed, louder, angrier than he had ever faced.

"How dare you leave me! After everything I have done for you, this is how you repay me?! You ungrateful child!" Another hand rose from the water, reaching toward (Y/N)'s head. He barely had time to react before it latched onto his hair, yanking his face upward, forcing him to stare into those terrible yellow eyes now gleaming in the darkness.

"Once I get my hands on you. You'll never be able to live, eat, walk, do anything without me." The Sannin's voice dropped to a menacing whisper, each word dripping with venom. A wave of despair washed over (Y/N) as the hand tightened its grip, his eyes stinging with tears.

He had gotten captured again, and this time, he was sure that the snake would trap him forever.

The monstrous golden eyes mocked his fear, taunting his helplessness. Orochimaru's voice shifted to a mocking, pitying tone.

"Aww, crying already? This is nothing compared to what I'm about to do to you." And with that, the hands dragged the boy down, submerging him fully. Cold, suffocating darkness enveloped him, his vision fading as he struggled against the unseen force until there was nothing left.

...

(Y/N) jolted awake, gasping for air. The silence of his room surrounded him, though his breaths remained erratic, his mind racing to assure him it was not real. He placed a hand on his chest, breathing deeply to regain control, willing his pulse to slow as he tried to calm his trembling limbs. The shadows in his room felt close, oppressive, a reminder of Orochimaru's looming presence that haunted his memories. He rubbed his temples, attempting to dispel the residual headache the nightmare had left behind.
