After a little over a year of being with Orochimaru, (Y/N) had finally decided on what to do. If you ignored the harsh training he went through on the daily, this living arrangement was not that bad.
Yes, he deeply desired to see the sun and did not know when the snake would let him see it again. He also missed Shizune's kindness, and definitely not Tsunade's. But there were also some advantages.
The training he had to do was extremely effective. He had become an amazing fighter! Apparently, when you kept the memories of your past life, you become a prodigy in your next one. The Sannin had told him that he was at the same level as a Chunin, and he was only six! That was such a good thing in a world filled with deadly shinobis, wars and criminals. The food was decent, and he was highly encouraged to learn even if the methods were a bit unconventional.
He would rate it a solid 3.5 out of five while his stay with Tsunade would be a 2 out of five.
And the snake was... not that bad with him.
Did he still creep him out? Absolutely, without question. But he had grown used to his presence and even started to find it comforting. It was probably the Stockholm Syndrome talking, but whatever. It was not really important at the moment. What deeply unsettled him was his own reaction when Orochimaru was gone. The anxiety that washed over him like a Tsunami was even stronger than the kind he would feel back on his Earth. He was like a puppy who had always been pampered and given attention only for the owner to start giving him less time when they got back to work. It was very pathetic, really, yet it seemed to be what that evil snake wanted. The boy would always see the content and dark glint in his eyes when he came back after leaving for days. The older one wanted him to be dependent on him. To rely on him for every little thing and to only look at him for support.
And why he was acting like this? (Y/N) was not quite sure. With the way that person acted, he clearly wanted the two of them to have a 'good' relationship. One made on respect instead of fear. That was very unusual of him to want that with one of his experiments. He did not remember that scenario ever happening in Naruto.
So, what had happened?
Why was it different than canon?
Did his presence affect the people of this world? In ways that would not happen normally? Was it because his soul was from another world? Since he could do nothing more than to speculate, he decided to stop thinking about that. It was useless and would only drag his mental state down. Something that should not happen in this place.
(Y/N) shook his head to get rid of those thoughts and he looked at the plate of food in front of him. It laid there on the desk innocently. Some useless npc had brought it, knocked on the door and left. It had been two days since he had eaten anything. His stomach was growling, begging to be feed, but his rational side stopped him. He knew it was poisoned. The food was always poisoned if it were not given to him directly by Orochimaru.

FanfictionBeing reincarnated into Naruto is fun. What is not fun is being the biological child of the three Sannin (somehow??) which makes him a huge target. Like a huge Huge target. Good luck getting out of it intact when his favorite characters turn into ya...
