41 the man

Leo's pov

Me and Rose were on our way to meet William for lunch. Ever since the end of the ball Rose has been acting weird she hardly talks to anyone, especially me. Did I say or do anything to upset her? I thought to myself. Maybe she isn't feeling well,
" hey you feeling ok?" I asked tired of the Silence. " I'm fine," she said in an annoyed tone. " Ok, so what's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing," she said in a furious tone. " Ok" I said.
Well something definitely is wrong, but what? After about ten more minutes in silence we arrived at the restaurant. Once we were in the restaurant we saw William sitting in the far back so we walked up to him.
" Hey there yall are," Will said. " Yes Liam, we are here," Rose said. " Ah, are we calling each other by our old nickname again?" Will asked. Wait, they know each other?
" Yes we knew each other," Rose said. Wait, did I say that out loud? " Yes you did and you said that out loud too" Will said. " Well then let's eat," I asked. " Sure" they said as one.
So we ordered our food as we talk about business, but then the questions popped back up in my mind.
" So how did you two meet ?" I asked.
" oh well you see she used to work at the coffee shop that I used to go to all the time " Will said. " Yeah, then after a while he just stopped coming in so I thought he was dead until the other day," Rose said. " ohh ok" I said. I knew they were lying to me but I couldn't say anything, " why didn't you seem surprised to see he was alive the other day?" I asked. " Because I didn't realize it was him until I asked Lia if I was going crazy," Rose said. " Wait so my Cousin knew you two knew each other?" I asked. " Well yeah she is my beastie besides it's not like I knew he was a mafia boss when I first met him" she said. " Well, it looks like you have a thing for mafia bosses," Will said. in a teasing way but Rose looked at him with hurt in her eyes. " Anyways it's about time I get back to America, but Rose comes to visit me sometime so we can catch up again," Will said as he stood up. She just nodded as she stood up too. Then she gives him a hug he hugs back as he whispers something in her ear.

Rose's Pov

I liked how Liam came up with that lie real quick, I just hope Leo believes it.
I'm not ready for him to know that part of my life especially after what I found out the other day.
"Anyways it's about time I get back to America, but Rose comes to visit me sometime so we can catch up again," Liam said as he stood up. I just nodded as I stood up as well and gave him a hug. He hugged me back.
" I'm sorry I said that you know I didn't mean it like that," he whispered in my ear. " Yeah, I know but can we talk before you leave ? " I whisper back. " Of course," he said quietly. " It was nice meeting you again Leo. I hope we can meet up again but I hope it's not because of work," William said.
" I agree," Leo said.
We all walked out of the restaurant. Leo walked to his car as me and Liam walked over to his car.
What was it you wanted to talk about?" He asked. " I need a few favors. Can you please look into this more? Also, can you get me a fight sometime?"
I asked. " Yes I can look into this note more but it probably will take a while but I will get it done, and since when did you start underground fighting again?" he asked " I just started again so tell the underworld that The Scarlet Storm is back" I said then walked away.
When I got to Leo's car he was on his phone but after a little bit he ended the call. On the way home I got lost in my thoughts. I need to ask Lia if she can help me get into the at home gym so I can train for whenever my fight is.
As soon as we get home i will asked her since she is the only person beside Liam that knows about me being the Scarlet Storm, every one thought that Scarlet Storm was an older woman since she went into Retirement but I just had to go into hiding because of Michel so it's time to make my come back since Michel knows where I am.
"I have to drop you off at the house then I have to go to the warehouse for some business," Leo said. " ok why can't I just go with you? It would be easier and faster than driving all the way home then to the warehouse and back again," I said. " You sure it could take a while?" He asked. " Yes I'm sure I have my phone so I can read a book or play games," I said. " Ok, but you have to stay in my office when we get there," he said. I nodded. Maybe I could have something that might tell me that the note is real, but I will have to see if Leo is going to be in his office or not for my plan to work.
When we got to the warehouse there were a lot of cars there, we went inside to be faced with a lot of people. But what I wasn't expecting was to see someone I wish I wouldn't see again, why is he here? Does he work for Leo? I need to tell Leo that he has a rat in his mafia. I kept an eye on the man as we walked to Leo's office. When we got to the office Leo went to walk away but I stopped him.
"Leo," I said. " Yes?" He questioned. " Who is that man to you?" I questioned as I pointed the man out. " he is a bodyguard why?, " he asked. "Because I've seen him before but not because he works for you," I said. " What do you mean, has he done something to you?" He asked in a serious tone. " No, no he hasn't hurt me,but" I said. " But what Rose?, what has he done, why did you bring this up right now?" he asked. I could tell he was getting upset so I did what I thought was best but apparently it wasn't. " He used to work with Michael," I said as I looked at the ground. " So you tell me I have a fucking rat in my mafia?" He yelled. " I- I don't know but he was there when Michael had me at that place," I said as I started to cry. " I'm sorry Rose, I didn't mean to yell at you, " he said. then walked out of the office
I don't know why but I've cried more around him then I have anymore well all but Lisa.
