76 Chasing the Ghosts Within

Leo's pov 

When I was done working I went to Missy's room to find her still asleep  and Enzo was on his phone, I told him he could go and I would stay with her. So for the last  hour I've been sitting here waiting for her to wake up.

I hope she's going To be alright, I know she is going through a lot right now and I just want her to know she has all of us to help her.

After a few minutes I felt the bed more so I looked over to find Missy awake.

“ Oh hey, how are you feeling?” I  asked, then texted Georgie to let her know Missy was awake.

“I don't know, who did you text?” she asked.

“ Okay, it was Georgie she told us to let her know when you woke up” I  said as I put my  phone on the bed.

“Oh alright, the ah voices are talking again,” she  said.

“ talk to Georgie about them and she might be able to help,” I said. I hate seeing her like this.

“But what if the voices win and I hurt him? I don't want to hurt him but the voices do” she said.

“ we will make sure they don't, you won't hurt him, we will make sure he will be alright” i said as i pulled her into a side hug.

“But what If you can't?, the voices keep telling me to k-kill him” she said.

“ We are going to figure it out, I know but he is going to be alright” I  said, but before she could say anything the door opened to reveal Georgie.

“ Hey, how are you feeling? I'm sorry I had to give you that” Georgie said as she walked over to the bed.

“I'm not sure, it's fine,” missy said.

“ Okay, well I need to ask you some questions. Is it okay if Leo stays or do you want it to be just us two?” Georgie asked as she sat on the edge of the bed.

“Alright, he can stay,” missy said.

After a few minutes she was done asking questions and left, after a little bit Enzo came Into the room.

I could tell missy was fighting with the voices, I wish I could just take them away.

“H-hi,” missy  said.

“ Hey, are you doing better?”  Enzo  asked as he walked closer to the bed.

“I ah I don't really know,” missy said.

“ Georgie said that she needs to run some tests then she will talk to you” Enzo said to me and I nodded, as we noticed  missy zoned out.

“You alright?, you zoned out” Enzo said, it took a few tries to get her to zoned back in.

“Mm yeah I'm fine just thinking” she  said.

“Enzo, could You stay With missy for a little bit?” I asked enzo.

“Ah yeah Sure” Enzo said.

“Alright I will be back in a little bit” I  said then left the room.

“So ah what ya wanna do?” I heard Missy ask as I walked down the hall.

I heard voices talking in the kitchen so I went in there to find that it was my parents talking to nid.

“How is she doing?” nid asked.

“I honestly don’t know, she is better than earlier though, she says that the voices are telling her to hurt someone” i said in a sad tone.
