42 Do we have rats?

Leo's pov

If we have a rat we have to be very careful with who we tell the plans to, I need to talk to my father about this.
Fuck I feel guilty for yelling at Rose it isn't her fault that we might if a rat; I actually should have thanked her for bringing it to my attention because I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for her. I walked to the meeting room I was supposed to be in five minutes ago,
" Father, I need to talk to you," I said. " What's wrong son? can it wait until after this meeting?" He asked. " I will tell you when I talk with you, no it can't wait'' I said. " ok ok let's go talk in your office" he said as he stood up.
We were on our way to my office when we heard a scream coming from
my office sounded like Rose, so we picked up our Speed. When we got to the office all I saw was Ace with a knife on Rose's neck.
" What's going on here?" My father asked. " She was going through the boss's desk," Ace said. " Rose, is that true?" I asked. " I was just looking for some paper to write something on," she said. " Why didn't you just ask one of the men here?" Ace asked. " Because I don't feel comfortable around most of y'all" Rose said in a sassy tone. " Ok enough she's fine, put your knife down Ace" I said. " But boss she was-" he went on to say butIcuthim off. " I know but I said put your knife down now!"said in a furious tone. He put his knife down." I will talk to you later" I added as he walked
away. " Rose what was that about?" My father asked. " I don't know like I said I was just looking for paper to write something on it then out of nowhere I felt a knife on my neck," Rose said. " Ok, we will figure out what happened," my father said. " Alright" she answered. " Anyways son what
did you need to talk to me about it?" My father asked. I look at Rose then back at my father. " We have at least one rat in our mafia," I said. " What do you mean?How do you know? Who is it? " my father said. " You know what I mean father, Rose was the one who pointed out she saw him with Michael, it's Lefty" I said. " Where is he?" my father asked. " He is in the lounge," I said.
Then he walked out of my office going to the lounge, I looked at Rose then I followed my father. I heard footsteps behind me so I knew Rose followed me. We walked into the room just as Ace was taking Lefty out of the room.
"Where is he taking him to?" Rose asked. " to the basement but you don't have to worry about that" I said. " Are you going down there now?" She asked. " No, I will after the meeting," I said. " ok when you do go let me know I want to go too" she said out of nowhere. " You are not going down to the basement, especially not in the room with him," I said in a serious tone. " Why not? He was there when I was being Tortured so why can't I? Is it because you don't think I can handle seeing blood? " she asked. " That's why I don't want you to be there, I know you can handle seeing blood but I don't want you to see that side of me" I said. " It's not your choice now, is it I'm going to be there no matter what," she said. " Son, let her be there; she deserves it," my father said. "Fine but if you need to leave the room tell me" I said then walked out going to the meeting room

*Time skip *
After a long meeting it was late I was about to leave but then my father reminded me of the fucker in the basement so I am making my way to my office to get Rose, when I get to my office I see Rose talking with Ace so it looks like they got over the Incident earlier. When they finally noticed I was standing there Ace stood up,
" I was just keeping her company. She seemed lonely so I came to talk with her" Ace said in a Shakey voice. " It's alright Ace, I just came to get Rose so we can take care of the rat," I said as I saw him relax. " Alright, do you need me there too or can I turn in for the night? He asked. Why do you go home to see your wife and kids? I got this handled beside I have other guys here if I need anything," I said. " Alright, I'm again sorry about the incident earlier . I hope we can talk again soon," he said. " It's ok you were doing your job, we will talk soon, maybe I can meet your wife and children" Rose said. " Alright that sounds nice Anyways good night" Ace said as he left. " Alright let's go before I fall asleep" Rose said as she walked out the room.
As we walked
to the basement it was quiet but it wasn't a problem since I had a long day. I just wanted to go home to sleep since I don't sleep for a few days at times. When we get to the room where Lefty was I saw my father outside of the door waiting impatiently for us.
" Finally, can we hurry this up? Your mother is not happy that we weren't at dinner, you know how she is about eating dinner together," my father said. " Alright then let go then, before I have to die with y'all" Rose said.
So I opened the door to see Lefty in a chair Unconscious so I walked over to where we keep everything that we might need to get answers out of someone, I picked up a Bucket of cold water and dumped it on him.
" I'm sorry boss, I had no choice but to work with Michael," he said. " You are only sorry you got caught," Rose said from the shadows. " you're right if it wasn't for you we would've already had this mafia boss dead" fucker said. " Well you should have killed me sooner," Rose said as she walked out of the shadows. " So you worked for him all this time, that's why when we were looking for Rose you would act if the other place was a better bet then the one she was actually at" I said in a furious tone. " We couldn't have you find her so we could kill you but that bitch jumped out in front of you" he said. " What is Michael's plan?" I asked. " Why would I tell you?" he asked. " Well you could have a fast less painful death or a slow very painful death, it's your choice," I said. " I'm not telling you shit" he said.
I went to get a knife as I walked back over to him. Rose also grabbed a knife, " what are you doing?" I asked her. " It's called getting Revenge" she said in a sassy tone. I nod let's see what she got so I go stand by my father.
" Let's see if we have a replacement for Ace," my father said with a chuckle. " She couldn't be better than Ace Noone is better than him" I said.

(Rose's pov)
As I walk In front of this fucker; I hear Leo talking with his father about how good I'm going to be, so I use my assassin skills to tell them or should I keep it a secret still? I questions myself for a little bit while i walk around this fucker. After a few minutes I decided to show them what I could do so I took the knife and made a small cut on his arm then I made a bigger cut on the other arm. After I made little cuts here and there I took a step back for a minute.
" Hey, do you mind if we keep him alive?" I asked. "Why would we keep him alive?" Leo asked. " For a few reasons, one we can go home now, two I would like to call an old friend for a Favor," I said. " Fine but once we get back from France he better be dead" Leo said. " Alright, that should be enough time for them to get here," I said. "enough time for who to get here? Leo asked. " Not who but what" I said then walked away
