85 In Search of Meaning

Leo's pov 

It's been two weeks since ares had the babys, luca, her and the baby's came home two days after having the babys. ashly has been seeing some dude,  I don't know much about him I just know what nid and rose has said about him but from what I've heard he's not a nice guy, but I don't know so I stay out of it since it's not really my business. 

I was in my office going over a  few files that needed to be Dealt with, that's the only problem I have with the mafia life, why is there so many fucking files? It's like you Finish going through two and ten more Appears from nowhere. 

I was brought back to Reality when There was a knock on the door. I said to come in and  nid walked in then closed the door behind him, he walked up to my desk and put his gun on it as he sat down.

“I told you I would give it back if I thought about it,” he said.

“ What's going on in your mind?” I asked as I put down a file I had in my hands, at least he kept his word. 

“A lot,” he said.

“ Want to talk about it? This can wait if you need to talk” I said as I pointed at a file. 

“It's ashly, she's seeing a guy which you already know but everytime she goes on a date with him when she comes home she has bushes and when I asked her about it she said it was none of my business, but i seriously think that the dude is hitting her and it's probably my fault because if I wasn't stupid and hadn't told her to find someone else that she wouldn't have started dating that dude who could be hitting her” he said as he ran a hand through my hair, well I guess i can't stay out of it anymore  since its starting to mess with nids head and we don't need him getting back to the mindset we just got him out of not long ago. 

“ If you want I can see if Rose can talk to her, you don't know if it was that or not” i said as I leaned back into my chair. 

“Could you please?, but if I hadn't told her to find someone else then she wouldn't have started dating that dude, but no i had to be a fucking idiot and tell her to go find someone else” he said.

“ okay, you made a mistake  and you thought it would have been better for her” I said then texted Rose that I need to talk to her about something. 

“Yeah that mistake got it where ashly got hurt and it's my fault because I had to be a fucking idiot like I always am” he said.

“ you're not an idiot, your Stupid but not an idiot” rose said as she walked into the office, she has gotten a habit of just walking in with knocking. At first I found it annoying but I've gotten used to it. 

“idiot, stupid It's the same fucking thing” nid said.

“ nah not really, anyways  what did you want to talk about?” Rose asked me as she sat down in the chair next to nid. 

“ Can you talk to Ashly?” i asked. 

“ about what?” Rose asked as she looked in between me and nid. 

“About the guy she's dating,” nid said.

“ Alright, what am I trying to figure out about him?” She asked as she looked at nid. 

“Anything, but mainly if he's hitting her or anything” nid said. 

“ alright, I will try, anything else?” She asked. 

“Alright thanks, I don't need anything else” nid said.

“ okay, I will let you get back to work, and I will see what I can find out about this dude, and if he is hurting her if you need a assassin I know a good one” Rose said as she got up with a grin, I knew she was hinting at that it was her she was talking about.
