45 The past is still with us waiting to show back up

Matteo's pov

“what the actual fuck just happened”  Ashton said. “ I mean it makes sense if you kinda think about it,” i said.“ yeah I noticed earlier that Leonidas and Leonardo look a lot alike and their names are similar”  Tommy said.  “ yeah but the name being similar could just be a coincidence,” Ares said. “Coincidence or not, they still look a lot alike,” Tommy said. “ well they will figure it out but if they are siblings what happens to the French mafia?” Andy asked, “ I’m not sure we’ll have to figure that out,” Lucas said. “ I'm just glad that the kids are asleep with all of this shit”Lindy said. “Yeah but there’s still these two that are awake” Christopher said pointing at Tabitha and Liam. “ Hey, we’re not kids, “ Liam said.

(Williams pov)

“Hey Rose, can we talk about something real quick?” I asked. “ Sure,” she said. Hey, is there somewhere we can talk in private?” I asked Lucas. “ Yeah you can use my office,” Lucas said. “ Well where the fuck is your office at its not like I've been here before” I said.  “Here I’ll show you where it is,” Lucas said.
So we followed him to his office,
“ Here you go just stay out of everything or I will have to hide some body's” Lucas said then walked away. “ Alright what did you want to talk about?” Rose asked. “ You know the note you gave me well I found something out about it” I said. “ Oh what did you find out?”
“Someone tried to make it look like it was real but it's a fake one, from what I know Leo hasn't seen your mother,” I said. “ Alright so who was and why would someone do that?” Rose asked. “ I don't know but when everything else slows down  we need to show Leo this, maybe he has a clue” I said. Alright let's go see what's going on” she said.
So we went back to the living room.

(Leo's pov)

As we were on our way to the Infirmary I noticed Missy was Jumpy.
“What's going to happen if they are our siblings?” Enzo asked me. “ We will take it one step at a time,” I said. “Ok Missy has been kinda jumpy since we got closer to the Infirmary” Enzo said. “ Yeah I noticed that as well,” I said.
Then I saw Nid leaned down to whisper something to her then pulled her closer, then Nid knocked before opening the door.
“Is missy really sick again or is something wrong with you besides being sick in the head?”  Winston asked. “ no missy is fine and I’m fine we just need a dna test done “ nid said. “oh why is that?” Winston asked “ to see if we’re related “ Nid said as he pointed to us. “ Wait What do you mean really sick again?” Mom asked.
“ I have an autoimmune disease and a few other health issues and I get really sick every so often,”  Missy said. “ What! How long has this been happening? when was the last time you got really sick?!” mom asked. “ahh around thanksgiving and I was pretty much sick from thanksgiving until recently” missy said. “ ok are we doing this fucking test or am I going to go home? because it will take at least a few hours,” Winston said.

After we finished opening presents and cleaning the wrapping paper up, Nid had one of the maids take the younger kids to watch a movie in the movie room while we talked.
“ So how does it feel to know you have more than two siblings ?” Ashton asked. “ We  don't even know if we are actually siblings so shut the fuck up” Leo said. “ geez sorry I was just kidding “Ashton
said. "Well it wasn't funny,”
Leo said. “ How about we get to know each other better so if we are siblings we know more about each other?” I asked. ” Sure you go first, “ Missy said, pointing at Leo.
“ Why me? He is older, let's go from oldest to youngest" Leo said.  “Fine, what do you want to know every little detail?”  Nid asked.  “ Tell us about how you became the French mafia boss  and a little bit about yourself,” Father said.
“ Well my father or what I thought was my father up until a little bit ago, was the lander until he took off one day when I was around 13. I was the only heir because my older brother died; so I was basically
made to be the French mafia boss. 
I only really remember stuff from when I was 11. I don't remember anything that happened before that,  I was basically unwanted most of my life but once my older brother died because of me I was pretty much a disappointment,” Nid said. 
“ well my life wasn't like yours but I remember bits and pieces of when I  was 7 all I remember is holding on to my little sister who had been shot, I was trying to get her to hang on until we could get help but then I remembered someone picking me up and running that's all I remember, I just recently fully became the Italian mafia boss” Leo said. “Wait who goes next?” Missy asked.
“Well I'm 18, so?” I asked. “ bitch I’m 18 so that doesn’t fucking help” Missy said.  “ do rock paper,” Rose said. I kinda forgot there was anyone else in here, “Wait a damn minute both of y’all are 18 so if y’all are siblings you two are twins” Ashton said.  “ I guess so wait  that would be cool wouldn't it be Missy?” I asked.
“ I guess,”  Missy said.  “ Ok wait , who was born first?  Mom was I actually a twin? If so , who is older?” I asked. “ Yes you were a twin but your twin was kidnapped with your oldest brother, but you were the older twin,” mother said.
“Well I don't remember much about having a twin I knew I felt like a part of me was missing, I'm an assassin kinda  I help with the mafia sometimes” I said. “ Missy it’s your turn” “ Missy? “ I
Nid  asked.  I had noticed that her leg had started to bounce a little bit ago which normally happens before someone has a panic attack “ missy can you hear me?” Nid  asked again but she still didn’t answer. “  Does she have anything that helps calm her down?”  I asked. “ Ashly do you know where her teddy bear is?. “ "Nid  asked Ashley.
“ the one that is weighted and has the smell that calms her down?” Ashly asked. “ Yes, “ Nid said.  “ yeah i know where it is I will go get it” Ashly said.   When ashly came back with the teddy bear she gave it to Missy but it didn't really work. ” Now what do we do ?that normally helps”Ashly said.  “ I don’t know”  Nid said.
“ Here let me try something, Missy Missy if you can hear me try to name 4 things you can hear, ” I asked. she still didn’t say anything, she opened her mouth like she wanted to say something but the words wouldn’t ’t come out “ missy please try to”  Nid said. “ Missy can you count to ten for me luce del sole?” ( sunshine) I asked.
This time she shook her head “ missy Poussin (Chicky)
please at least try to count, “ Nid said.  “ go see if Winston has something to give her. Yall more she needs room” Rose said, “ I will go see if he has anything”  Nid said. “ Alright, Missy, can you open your eyes and look at me please?” Rose asked in a sweet tone.

(Rose's pov)

missy looked up  at me and she kept her eyes one me,
“ Good job  now, what are 5 things you can see? I asked her.
“You, Enzo, Leon, Ashton, and Tommy, “ Missy said in a low, shaky voice. “ Good,  now how about 4 things you can touch? I asked.
“ mr teddy bear I’m holding onto someone’s arm this sofa and your  face” missy said still in a shaky voice but a bit louder. “ very good, how about 3 things you can hear?”
“ your voice I’m not sure about anything else “ missy said as she  looked around the room looking for nid “ where’s ducky?”“ Is papa mad at him again?”  Missy asked.   Alright it's ok, he went to see if Winston had anything to give you why would papa be mad? ” I asked. 

(Enzo’s pov)

” Because  I had a panic attack  papa never hits me when I have panic attacks but he has to hit someone. Do you promise papa isn’t mad at him ?” Missy asked as she  started to cry “ ducky where ducky“ missy kept saying then  she just curled up into my arms and cried. “ I’m sorry ducky I didn’t mean to make papa mad “ missy said onto my chest thinking I was Nid i  just rubbed her  back with my hand “ I’m sorry ducky I’m sorry I used to think that my childhood was hard, but you took most the worst of all; even if you didn’t do it you take care of me more than you took  care of yourself I’m sorry ducky I’m so sorry ducky, i know you think that it should have been you that died instead of Oliver but if you had died then I wouldn’t of had anything to stay alive for, if you would’ve died instead of him if I lost you I would lose everything i just can’t lose you ducky “ missy sobbed out. “I’m sorry ducky I’m sorry “ missy said and kept repeating it. “ I’m sorry ducky i won’t let papa hurt you again I’m not going to let you take another one of my beating  “ missy sobbed.  she  kept holding onto me.  “ I’m sorry ducky “ Missy kept whispering. “ shhh it's ok he is fine” I whispered to her.
Leonidas walked back in, he gave me a worried look.
“ what happened?” Nid asked me.
“ I don't know,  we got her to calm down but then she noticed you weren't here and she started freaking out again” I said.
He walked over to missy “ missy come here “ nid said as he sat down next to her.  “ No, I'm not moving, “ Missy said.  “ Missy it's ok it's Nid you can go to him if you want,”  I said. “ no I stay with the big cuddly teddy bear “ Missy said. 
“ Well I guess she’s staying with the cuddly teddy bear, “ Nid said.    “ Alright  I don't mind, but only she can call me a teddy bear,” I said.
If it makes her happy then I will be her teddy bear, even if we are not siblings,
“ ok she’s the only one that is allowed to call me ducky “ nid said. “ Alright,” I said.
