98 Behind Every Corner: The Hunt Begins

Ashton's pov

It's been a few weeks since Missy had Mark,
mark has been sleeping better now that we've been playing rain noises when he goes to sleep, missy is getting better at dealing with the emotions and all, besides if you leave her in a room with me.
I was in the living room with a few of the others who was either playing uno or playing with the baby's, I was bored so I decided to go and find something to do.

"I will be back later" I said as I got up.

"Where are you going?" mia asked as she looked up at me.

"Just gonna drive around for a little while and find something to do, i will try to be home before dinner time" I said then left.

I grabbed the keys to my car then went to my car, I would take my bike but I kinda crashed it.
When I got to my car I started it then pulled out of the driveway.
I drove around town for a few hours until I ended up finding a bar, I decided to stop and have a drink then I would head home.
I ordered my drink and waited for it, as I was waiting for it a girl walked up to the bar counter and ordered a drink.
Okay nothing wrong with that, right? Well she started talking to me, I gave her short answers and tried to ignore her, i could tell she was pretty drunk.

"So are you from around here?" She asked.

"Not originally" I said.

"Oh so you're new to the area?" She asked as she leaned closer towards me, so I moved back.

"Not really" I said, can she just go?

"That's nice" she said, if she moves any closer to me our faces are going to touch.

"Yeah" I said.

"Hey what's you doing being so close to my girl?" Some guy asked as he walked over to where me and the girl were.

"She was the one who got this close to me. I've moved and she followed me" I said.

"I didn't follow him, I was just minding my business when he came up to me and started talking to me" the girl said as she moved back from me.

"You got a fucking problem?, stay away from my girl" the guy said as he moved closer to me.

"I ain't got a problem, it's your 'girl' who has the problem, and I was staying away from you're 'girl' she was the one following me asshole" I said.
i really should have kept my mouth shut because the dude took me out of the building and to the Alleyway that was next to the bar.
This dude started punching me, well me being me I fought back, then he pulled a knife out of his pocket, well i done fucked up, mia is going to kill me if she finds out I got in a fight with some dude.
The dude stabbed me in my side a few times.

"Stay away from my girl, next time I won't be so nice" the dude said then left.

I stayed in the alley for a little bit then decided I should head home so I could bandage the stab wounds which i luckily got to quit bleeding as much, so I went to my car and drove home.
When I got to the house I saw that most of the others were still in the living room, so hopefully I will be able to get to my room without getting caught, right? Wrong, as I was walking towards the stairs zach walked out of the kitchen and stopped me.

" what the fuck Happened to you?" he asked.

"Nothing?" I said more as a question.

" Don't play stupid, what happened?" He asked again but more seriously than before.

"I ah got into a fight, but it wasn't my fault, don't tell mia," I said.

" Don't Tell me what? What happened, why are you bleeding? Where were you?" Mia asked all in one breath.
