Based on the Song "Someone I Don’t Know" from Connor Austin

He doesn’t know your name yet.

It’s ridiculous, really. The way he can’t shake the thought of you. A stranger, a passing moment, a conversation that lingers longer than it should. But here he is, strumming his guitar in the dim glow of his apartment, lyrics tumbling from his lips like they were always meant to exist.

So many faces, but the only one I want to see is yours…

He doesn’t know if he’ll ever see you again. Maybe you were just passing through, a fleeting presence in a crowded room. Or maybe fate is just waiting for the right moment to bring you back. Either way, he’s already writing you into his world, spinning dreams into melodies, turning a fleeting thought into something real.

She can wake up in my bed wearing my clothes…

The words feel too personal, too familiar for someone he barely knows. But that’s the thing, isn’t it? He wants to know you. Wants to hear the sound of your laugh at 2 a.m. Wants to watch you dance around the kitchen, barefoot and carefree, singing along to a song that neither of you will remember in the morning.

She plays One Direction on the radio…

A chuckle escapes him as he jots the line down. It’s stupid, really, how easy this feels—how naturally the words spill from him when he’s thinking about you. Like his heart already knows the story it wants to tell.

He wonders if you’d laugh at the thought of this song. If you’d tease him for imagining a future before you’ve even had a proper start. Maybe you’d roll your eyes, maybe you’d smile. Either way, he hopes you hear it one day.

And when you do, he hopes you’ll recognize yourself in every word.
