Vengeful eyes glared furiously into the poster, as if the person plastered on it were truly there.

After working on the investigation with the Tenryou Commission, You'd spent all day roaming around Inazuma, putting up wanted posters for the culprit of your partners murder.

"You're certain it's this 'Scaramouche' person behind this?' The renowned detective never once thought it to be you. He had ruled it out immediately, and after questioning, the two of you came to the same conclusion.

"Yes, Heizou." You spat out, no longer having any faith in Scaramouche.

"He will pay for it." You tore your eyes away from the wanted poster of Scaramouche, instead looking into Heizou's emerald green eyes.

"Careful, don't do anything illegal. I don't want to have to put you behind bars." He said teasingly, flashing his signature mischievous grin. That was his attempt to lighten the mood.

He cleared his throat and spoke seriously this time; "Since his crime was committed in your teapot, technically he can be arrested in any nation. I'd rather be the one to deal with him."

"Then I'm going to need your help."

You ran your fingers along the fine wood, the sound of the waves crashing giving you a small sense of tranquility.

"General Sara is going to give me the scolding of a lifetime.." Heizou sighed as he realized his punishment to come. This was the nation of Inazumas property. He was never one for following rules anyway.

You both looked in amazement at the ship, it rocked back and forth in its spot in the dock. It seemed it was begging to be released, and you had the utmost desire to jump into it and set sail. You prayed it would survive the trip to the frigid nation of Snezhnaya.

It contained the Fatui headquarters, and you assumed that's where Scaramouche most likely fled to.

Had you any idea how to sail a ship?

Definitely not.

You had initially thought about getting aboard the Alcor as it had its own functioning crew, but you'd never want to involve Beidou, Kazuha, and innocent civilians in your feud.

"I need a few members of the Commission. That would suffice." If it were any other circumstance, you'd have been much too shy to order around and make requests like this, but this wasn't any ordinary mission.

"Done. You'll have them by tonight. Meet me here at sunset?" Heizou extended his hand to you. "I want to be here to wish you a safe trip."

You gripped his hand firmly, and gave it one good tug.

"Deal."

                                    —————-

"Welcome back, comrade."

That voice irritated Scaramouche to no end, though it was worth it if he were to hear praises from it.

"What do you want, Childe?"

Their voices echoed in the eerie Fatui headquarters. It was indeed beautifully constructed.

Scaramouche's opinion of Tartaglia was that he was simple of mind, and not that strong of body.

"I heard of your endeavours." A congratulations was in order, but Childe was on friendly terms with the traveler. He didn't wish to admit he was upset of their passing.

"Yes, I managed to do what you couldn't." He smirked

He felt as though he were the number one Harbinger, he completed the task many had failed at doing.
