"We were fucked from the very beginning.
No amount of pressure will change that.
However, that was always our favorite part."

Alexandra.
A scream was the only thing that I could manage to let leave my lips as the hex missed him, and he made that snarky comment.
"You missed."
And I couldn't see his smug face, but I knew he said it with a fucking smile on his face.
Of course I missed.
No matter how good my aim was, it was as if my wand wasn't designed to ever make contact with him.
It would always bare slightly left, no matter how hard I pushed it right.
As if my very mind, my own hands would betray me each time.
So a scream, felt fitting, as he simply vanished out of the air in front of me.
"Fuck! Fuck, fuck FUCK!" I repeated, pacing the dingy cave, practically ripping my own hair out.
Just as I felt the tremors of pure anger settle deep within my chest, Ron and Dean burst into the cave like a whirlwind. Their faces were scrunched with concern, with worry.
"What happened?!" Ron exclaimed, rushing toward me, his freckled face paler than normal. "Are you hurt?"
I turned to him, trembling with anger, my heart racing.
"The Horcrux is gone!" I screamed.
Dean stepped forward, his eyes wide with alarm. "How do you know? It could just be hiding—"
"Because I know!" I shouted, cutting him off.
I was on the brink of fury, and every nerve in my body felt like it had been electrified. I could feel their eyes on me, questioning—even a bit condescending. "Just trust me!"
Ron opened his mouth to say something, but I didn't let him. My mind was racing, mounting anxiety threatening to claw its way up my throat. "Just trust me!"
Their concern morphed into confusion, but deep down, I could see the flickers of doubt.
They didn't get it.
They could never get it.
"Did you run into anyone?" Dean pressed.
"No," I answered almost too quickly, "But Harry told me exactly where it'd be. It's not here. Its been moved." I lied.
It would always be a lie.
"Its alright, Alex. We'll figure it out." Ron half smiled, "Its not your fault its gone."
"Let's just go back to the Safe House," Dean suggested, uncertainty lacing his voice.
I could feel his hesitance, like a weight in the air, but I nodded.
I didn't care what they thought.
I just wanted to escape this cave that felt more like a prison every second I spent in it.
