The next day I woke up with a headache. I didn't know why. And like always I ignored it.

After eating breakfast I left the mauri to go and see how Aonung was doing.

When I got to his family mauri I was greeted by Tsireya. "Aonung isn't here at the moment." She said as she saw me.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"He's with Rotxo by the reefs. Hey, do you maybe know what happened to him?" She asked curiously.

"What do you mean?" I chuckled a bit nervously.

"Why did he have cuts and bruises on his face?"

"I don't know."

"Mh, alright."

I smiled a little and left the mauri.

At the beach I saw Aonung and Rotxo talking. I smiled as I got closer to them. They noticed me too. Aonung smiled back while Rotxo was looking a bit nervous and uncomfortable.

"Hey boys. What are you doing here?" I asked them as I got closer.

"Just hanging around." Aonung said with a glare towards Rotxo that he didn't think I'd see.

"Alright. How is your face doing?" I asked him, "Not hurting anymore?"

"No."

"Alright." I smiled and he smiled back.

"By the way, Rotxo has something to say to you." Aonung said as he once more glared at Rotxo. I could sense there was tension between them.

"Okay. What do you have to say?" I asked as I turned to Rotxo. He looked like a nervous wrack.

"Yeah, umm, I'm sorry," He started. I looked at him confused as to why he's apologizing to me, "Why are you apologizing to me-?" I started to ask but he continued to speak.

"I told Savannah to kiss Aonung. I'm sorry."

"What?" I was not prepared to hear that but then he said something so crazy it surprised both me and Aonung. "But I only did that because I wanted to get a chance with you."

"What?" Me and Aonung said in unison, but he had a bit more anger in his voice. He also looked like he would charge at Rotxo at any moment.

"I'm sorry. When I realised that it's a big mistake, it was too late.." Rotxo explained quietly. But it wasn't enough for Aonung. I had to stop him from charging at Rotxo.

"Aonung! Stop it! I know what he did was wrong but he's still your friend." I tried to calm him down. And it worked for a bit but he was still visibly angry.

"Don't try to defend him now, Avyanna." Aonung muttered.

"I'm not. I just don't want you to hurt him because of feelings he can't control." I told him sternly. My hand resting on his shoulder seemed to relax him a bit.

Rotxo looked at the ground, feeling ashamed.

"Rotxo, can you leave us for a moment?" I asked him, to which he nodded and left. I then turned back to Aonung.

"I know what he did was unacceptable, but he is still your friend." I said once again.

"I know, but-"

"No buts." I interrupted him.

He nodded.
