"Are we all situated?" Straywhisker's voice echoed in Redpaw's mind as he curled up to sleep in the nest beside Rainpaw, who was already half-asleep.

"Yes, Straywhisker,"

"Yes ma'am,"

"Mhm,"

"We're as situated as we'll ever be,"

"Well, then. Good night, everyone." Straywhisker curled up to sleep beside her medicine cat apprentice, Jaypaw.

It wasn't long before Redpaw got swept up into a dream. He sensed Cindertail, Shinepaw, Luckypaw, and Nightpaw nearby.

"Guys!" He yowled, "Are you there!?"

"Redpaw?" Nightpaw yowled back.

They gathered in the middle of a purple-blue clearing.

"What's going on? Redpaw, is this the clan we were meant to bring back home?" asked Shinepaw.

"Maybe!" Redpaw answered.

"No."

A deep voice corrected them. All cats yowled fearfully, pelts standing on end as a hairless tom with blue, bulging eyes appeared in front of them.

"What do you mean, no? The Tribe of Rushing Water is now a clan." asked Nightpaw. "Also, who are you?"

"My name is Rock," The strange cat mewed. "I was the first Stoneteller. It's nice to finally meet you all, young ones. RushingWaterClan's home is here; they are not the clan you are looking for."

"Then we're chasing wild geese, are we?" hissed Cindertail. "How are we supposed to find the sixth clan beyond the mountains? It's just an abandoned wasteland!"

"So you think," Rock shook his head in a tsk-tsk manner. "Why do you think I brung you to find it? There must be six clans."

"It's nearing extinction," guessed Luckypaw.

Rock nodded at him. "Although, you were close with the RushingWaterClan guess. There is a cat who's destiny does not lie with the former tribe, but with her original heritage."

"You're saying there is a tribe she-cat who was once a clan cat but got swept away to the mountains and joined the RushingWaterClan?" asked Nightpaw, her tone tinted with disbelief. "Which one?"

"That I cannot tell you. All I can say is... if she stays, she will fade. But if she leaves with you all, she will be a shining Star amongst the clans." Rock winked at the apprentices before fading away.

"It's Star Shines Before Sunrise, isn't it?" asked Shinepaw. "It's Star!"

Redpaw barely heard his DreamClan-mate's yowl before he drifted back into reality. He blinked himself awake and heard the preparing of herbs. He snuck off out of the den to meet Cindertail, Shinepaw, Luckypaw, and Nightpaw awaiting him.

"Are we going to talk about the dream?" Cindertail meowed. "Star's meant to be a clan cat! What do we tell her?"

"I think we need to let her decide on her own," suggested Nightpaw. "Remember Cinderheart and Cinderpelt?"

"Believe me, I do," Cindertail rolled her eyes. "But that's not the point. Star is a clan cat, swept away by StarClan knows what! We need to tell her!"

"No!" Redpaw mewed to Cindertail, having enough of her short-temper. "I agree with Nightpaw. Let her decide if she wants to be a Lake Clan cat or a Mountain Clan cat. Do not breathe a word about this to her. Understand?"

"Alright," Cindertail grumbled. "But I won't keep no promises."

"Don't expect you to."
