Chapter 24 Outside & In🍋

AN: Merry/Happy whatever you celebrate! If you don't celebrate anything, here's a gift anyways. I figured it was about time for me to get yall some content, and what better time than now. This is something I have been planning on doing for a while with this book, so I'm excited for this chapter. I'm sure we know what's gonna be inside of what. More like who's gonna be inside of who, but anyways, you'll have to read to find out the rest. On with the chapter!

"...Umm wow, that was a lot... " -Monty

Again, the room fell silent as you sat there expectantly. His expression was still hard to read, and he was definitely still thinking about it all. Eventually he turned to you and breathed in fast, followed by an equally quick sigh.

"I've never really thought about leaving the Plex. Whether we can or not, I'm not sure. I've always had everything I've needed right here... Is it safe out there?" -Monty

"I mean yeah, aside from my family I've never really had a problem. I would say it's a safe place." -y/n

Monty went back to thinking, but it didn't take as long for him to answer.

"I can ask if I can. I can't see a problem with it, but I want to make sure." -Monty

"Okay sounds good." -y/n

He pulled out his phone and stepped out of the room. You could tell he was a bit hesitant about leaving the Plex. You sat in silence waiting for him to come back in. You could hear him outside the door but couldn't make much out. After about five minutes or so, he came back in.

"So?" -y/n

"...Um yeah, we can leave the Plex." -Monty

"Great! But Monts, if you don't want to, we don't have-" -y/n

"-No no, I'm fine with it, just a bit nervous is all." -Monty

"For now, don't worry about it. It's getting kind of late, so how about we just head to bed." -y/n

"Yeah, sounds good." -Monty

...Time Skip...

You woke up in Monts grasp. He was still fast asleep, but you were quite awake. Carefully you shuffled out of his hold and sat at the edge of the bed. You didn't really have anything planned for today as you weren't leaving the Plex till tomorrow, so you just sat in thought for a bit.

After about fifteen minutes of that, you finally got up. It was now 10:34 am, so you decided some breakfast would be a good idea. You put on some clothes, but just as you were about to leave, you decided to leave a note for Monty. You wanted to make sure he wouldn't worry if he woke up and you were gone, you knew he was already on edge with the whole leaving the Plex thing. With that, you made your way down to the FazPad.

It wasn't a long walk, but it was much more peaceful without the crowd of people. You just got a basic breakfast (whatever that looks like for you) and sat down to eat. You ate slowly as you were fairly occupied by your thoughts. Nothing bad, more just random things. Eventually your brain ran back to Monty. By that time, you had finished eating, but we're still in the FazPad. You decided that since you were down here, you'd get Monty some breakfast.

You got him some eggs on toast, bacon, and some coffee since you were sure he was gonna be tired. Carefully you made your way back up to his room. As quietly as possible you set down the food and sat down on the bed. You turned to Monty as lightly nudged his shoulder.

"Hey Monty, I got you some breakfast." -y/n

"Mmmm" -groggily groaned Monty

"Come on, it's nearly 11. Don't you want to eat... or see your boyfriend?" -y/n
