DAMIEN
"So are you excited?" Nevaeh asks, breaking the silence.
"Should I be?" I ask, unsure of why she's suddenly curious to know why I'm excited about a fashion show. It's the norm for me. She looks away for a second, a bit taken aback by my response.
"No, I just... never mind." She ends the awkward small talk, and looks out of the window.
We're in the car, on our way to the airport so we can arrive at london before 2 pm. It's currently 6 am, and I thought Nevaeh would be exhausted but here she is, next to me, looking glamorous as ever.
Not too long later, we get to the airport, get through all the hassle and begin to board the plane.
"I still can't believe you have a private jet — not that it's unbelievable but..." She trails off when she reaches the top of the stairs, then she squeals. "Oh my gosh, it's beautiful."
"Like you." I say once I get to the top, right behind her. She shoots me a warning look, because there are flight attendants right next to us.
I chuckle, as she goes off into the jet, finding a good seat and the two flight attendants look at me weirdly, like they've never seen me laugh or something. Wait, that's probably why.
The blonde one smiles at me. "Do you need me to help you to a seat?" She asks sweetly.
"He knows where he's sitting." Nevaeh calls out from her seat, and the blonde one narrows her eyes at her.
Ignoring her, I walk over to Nevaeh and sit next to her. Shortly after, Paige, as I can read from her badge, also known as the blonde one, walks over. "Can I bring you anything?" She leans over, her chest dangerously close to my face. I pull my head away skeptically.
"Oh no, we're fine." Nevaeh says softly.
"I meant Mr. Anderson." Paige says, giving Nevaeh a tight-lipped smile. Nevaeh furrows her eyebrows. Paige looks at me again, waiting for a response.
"No." I say.
She smiles that sickeningly sweet smile at me again, before saying, "Let me know if you need anything." And she walks away.
"Why are blondes such bitches?" Nevaeh says, flopping back into her seat. "I need a RedBull. Today is going to be very long."
"I'll call Paige for you-"
"No! I mean... that won't be necessary. I'll get one at the hotel or something." She looks away embarrassed. I chuckle softly.

It's been 3 hours and Nevaeh's been chewing my ear off. I didn't know she was this chatty. "Did you know that Joanne really likes you?" She says, and I shake my head.
"She does?" I ask, remembering the girl that Sadie was screaming at, and also the girl at our recent dinner.
"Yes- wait I'll be right back." She says, and she gets up to go to the bathroom.
When she returns, she doesn't say a word to me and she just stares out of the window. "Is everything okay?" I ask. She merely nods, without sparing me a glance.
I lean forward and grip her chin, forcing her to look at me. "What happened." It's not a question, it's a demand. She looks away. "Look at me. Tell me what happened."
"It's nothing important, really. I just overheard the flight attendant say a few things about me." She says quietly and shrugs, then forcefully moves her chin out of my grasp.
Looks like she no longer has a job here anymore.

We land in London Heathrow Airport, and we're waiting for our limousine to pick us up. The taxis here are no different than the last time I was here. Nevaeh was really quiet for the rest of our flight, so when Paige slipped me her number, I texted her saying that she can't work here anymore.
