Days pass as you continue your training, pushing yourself to the limit, both physically and mentally. The memories of Porco continue to haunt you, but you try the best to bury them deep within you.
One evening, as the sun sets outside, you find yourself alone in the training grounds, going through the motions of your routine. You move with a focused intensity, as if trying to outpace the thoughts that plague your mind. Your body move through the drills effortlessly, but your mind is elsewhere, lost in the memories of the time with Porco. You recall your conversations, your laughter, the stolen moments of intimacy. But each time these thoughts bubble to the surface, you quickly force yourself to push them back down. With a sharp exhale, you push yourself harder, throwing yourself into the training with renewed vigor. As you move, you repeat to yourself silently, „Focus, focus, focus." But even as the words echo in your mind, you can't shake the feeling that something is deeply missing from your life.
The sun vanishes below the horizon, leaving the training grounds bathed in the soft glow of moonlight. Your breath come in labored puffs, sweat trickling down your face, but you refuse to stop. Your body move on autopilot, your mind and heart in a constant battle. Frustration builds within you as you continue to go through the motions, the memories of Porco refusing to leave you alone. You can smell his scent, hear his voice, feel his touch. Each moment spent together is like a dagger to the heart, reminding you of what you've lost. As you land a particularly intense punch against the training dummy, you let out a guttural grunt, the noise laced with pain and frustration. You grit your teeth, your body shaking with the effort to keep your emotions in check.
The sudden, bone-shaking noise snap you out of your trance-like state, jolting you back to reality. You halt your movements abruptly, your heart pounding in your chest, your eyes wide in surprise. Your instincts kick in, the training automatically shifting from physical to practical. You dash towards the source of the noise, forgoing your odm-gear in the haste of the moment. Your thin top and training pants provide a stark contrast to your usual soldier uniform. The adrenaline pumping through your veins fuels your speed, your feet propelled forward by sheer adrenaline and urgency. The cool night air whips your hair as you run, your senses on high alert, straining to identify the source of the disturbance.
Your breath hitch in your throat as you finally arrive at the scene. The sight that greet you is both awe-inspiring and terrifying. Eren, monstrous in his Titan form, stands amidst the debris of the ruined building. Debris and rubble litter the ground, a testament to the destruction he has caused.
You quickly scan the area, your eyes meeting Levi's briefly. His expression is stoic, but his gaze is intense, silently assessing the situation. In spite of your shock, you steel yourself, your mind immediately switching into survival mode. You take a deep breath, focusing the energy on assessing the immediate danger and how you can assist. You glance toward the collapsed building, your heart clenching as you imagine the possible injuries or even fatalities caused by Eren's careless rampage. Your mind race, weighing the options on how to approach the situation and contain the out-of-control Titan.
As you scan your surroundings, your gaze land on some of your comrades who have gathered nearby. Their expressions mirror your own shock and fear, but you can see the determination in their eyes as well. You know they will work together to resolve this crisis. You turn back to look at Eren's Titan form, your mind calculating potential strategies. Your hands form into fists at your sides, your heart drumming furiously in your chest. You know the clock is ticking, and you all have to act fast.
Just as you are deep in thought, a new development captures your attention. Zeke appears on the scene, riding on the back of the Cart Titan. The arrival further complicates the situation, increasing the tension and danger. Your gaze snap to Levi, sensing the immediate change in his demeanor. The tension in his body is visible as he locks his gaze on Zeke. His hatred towards the man is palpable, the years of animosity and conflict between them fueling the intensity of his glare. Your thoughts race, and you realize that Zeke's presence and possible plan mirrors what nearly happened in Shiganshina. Fear tightens your chest as you contemplate his potential intent. Could he be aiming to repeat history, trying to merge with Eren's Titan form like he attempted the last time? The thought of the devastating consequences of such a union sends a shiver down your spine. Your training and gut instincts tell you that this would spell disaster, a scenario they must prevent at all costs.
In the midst of the chaos and confusion, a sudden realization hits you like a bolt of lightning. Porco... could he be nearby? The thought of him being in the vicinity of this unfolding danger clenches your heart. Your focus sharpen further, your senses alert for any sign of him. The possibility of Porco's presence fills you with equal parts unease and hope. Hoping to catch a glimpse of his familiar form, even as the tension in the air thickens.
...
„It's your turn, Braun and Galliard!" They receive Magath's command and his expression hardens. The mission is clear and the pressure is on. He nods sharply, his mind already focused on the task at hand. Magath adds one final warning to Porco, his eyes studying his face as he delivers his words. „And keep a rein on your emotions." Porco's jaw tightens, his eyes flickering briefly with a hint of annoyance. While he understands the gravity of the situation and the need to stay focused, he bristles at the suggestion that his emotions might get the better of him.
