Reiner reaches out, placing a hand gently on Porco's shoulder. „I can only imagine how tough it was. But you made the choice you had to make, for the greater good. You're a Warrior, Porco. You have a duty to Marley, and sometimes that means making tough decisions." „I never thought I'd be this... weak.", he admits, „That a girl, a Paradisian girl, Y/N, could weaken me like this."
„Did you two..?"
Reiner's question hangs in the air, the mere implication weighing heavily on Porco's mind. He looks down, avoiding Reiner's gaze, struggling to formulate a response.
„What... what do you mean?"
Reiner's gaze remains fixed on Porco's face, picking up on the subtle cues. He presses further, „You know what I mean. Did you two ever... get intimate?" Porco's face flushes faintly at the directness of Reiner's question, his heart rate quickening as he grapples with how to respond. Finally, he lets out a heavy sigh, admitting the truth.
„We... yeah.", he whispers. „We did." Porco gazes into the fire, his expression pained as he wrestles with his conflicted feelings. „It made everything's even more complicated now. I can't forget what it was like to be with her, to feel what I felt. And yet... I'm still a Warrior, still loyal to Marley. I still have my duty."
Reiner studies Porco's face, noticing the anguish etched on his features. „That's the thing about the heart.", he replies gently. „It feels what it wants, regardless of duty or loyalty. It doesn't follow rules. It doesn't care about what it should or shouldn't be. It just... feels." Porco closes his eyes, his shoulders slumping in resignation. „And that's the problem. It feels... even when it's not convenient, even when it goes against everything I stand for. And I can't... I can't make it stop. And her look in the eyes when I left...she definitely hates me now." Reiner's heart aches for his friend, seeing the turmoil he's going through. „Maybe she's angry and hurt right now." He acknowledges gently. „But that doesn't mean she hates you, Porco. It doesn't mean she'll forget everything you two shared."

Location Change
As you sit in the dining hall, lost in your thoughts, the memories of shared meals and moments you spent with Porco start to flood your mind. You glance around at the familiar surroundings, recalling the handcuffed bowl situation.
The food on your plate goes untouched as your mind drift further into the past, your heart aching as you relive the moments you two shared. Sasha and Mikasa approach you, noticing your distant expression and untouched food. They exchange a glance before taking seats around you. As Sasha begins to eagerly eyeing your plate, Mikasa sighs in annoyance and nudges Sasha in the side with her elbow.
„Stop being so insensitive.", she mutters under her breath, her expression stern.
Sasha pouts slightly at Mikasa's reprimand but refrains from commenting. Instead, she turns her attention to you.
„Hey, Y/N." Sasha says softly, „You okay? You haven't touched your food."
„You can have it.."
Sasha brightens at your offer, her eyes immediately lighting up. „Really? You sure you don't want it?"
„No I am not hungry."
Sasha perks up with excitement, her eyes already focused on the untouched food on your plate. „Great, thanks!"
Meanwhile, Mikasa watches the interaction closely, still concerned about your lack of appetite and brooding mood.
As Sasha eagerly begins devouring the food from your plate, Mikasa turns her attention back to you.
„You can talk to us. What happened?" Mikasa's words are gentle yet firm.
Sasha, too busy stuffing her face, pauses for a moment and nods in agreement with Mikasa's statement.
„Mikasa thanks! But you surely have your own problems?? I mean because of Eren?" Mikasa's expression softens slightly, her eyes downcast as she acknowledges the truth in your words. „Yeah, I do.", she replies quietly. „But that doesn't mean I can't care about what's going on with you, too."
„And actually we want to know exactly what happened between you and the Marley soldier! Even back then, when you came back from Marley, we could see how badly it had affected you!" Mikasa shoots Sasha a stern glance, silently signaling for her to tone it down a notch. „Sasha, not now..."
But Sasha is already on a roll, her eyes wide with interest as she eagerly awaits a response from you. „Yeah, come on.", she pleads, „We've been dying to know what happened, between you and Porco." Your heart race at the mention of Porco's name, the memories flooding back against your will. You struggle to maintain a neutral expression, but your eyes betray your inner turmoil. Mikasa notices your reaction, her eyes narrowing as she picks up on the subtle cues. She shoots another warning glare at Sasha, silently urging her to be more sensitive.
„Did you two..?"
Sasha's blunt question hangs in the air, the implications of it making your heart race even faster. You glance at Mikasa, silently pleading for help in dealing with Sasha's unfiltered curiosity. Mikasa, sensing your discomfort, steps in. „Sasha, knock it off.", she says firmly. „It's not our place to pry." Sasha pouts but relents, recognizing Mikasa's authoritative tone. „Fine, fine.", she mutters, crossing her arms in slight annoyance. You take a deep breath, your heart still racing as you prepare to share your story, the memories still fresh and painful. „We...we got close.", you admit,„Porco and I, we spent a lot of time together. And... and things happened. Things we couldn't ignore."
You continue, your voice growing more strained as you relive the memories. „We... we had moments together, moments that felt so intense, so real. But... but it wasn't just physical. We connected on a deeper level. We opened up to each other." Sasha's eyes are wide as saucers now, hanging on every word, her face showing her fascination at the revelation. Mikasa, on the other hand, remains watchful, silently processing the information, her gaze fixed on your face. Your voice quiver as you continue, your heart heavy with the weight of your emotions. „We were from different worlds.", you murmur. „From opposite sides of this damn conflict. But... but we found something in each other that defied all of that."
Sasha listens intently. She's never seen you so vulnerable and emotional.
Meanwhile, Mikasa watches you closely, her eyes narrowing slightly as she reads between the lines. She picks up on the underlying pain beneath the surface of your words. Your voice grows fainter, the memories becoming too much to bear. „But... but it was doomed from the start. We were bound to different loyalties, different duties. Our feelings... they couldn't change that."
You look at them both, your eyes swimming with unshed tears. „No matter how strong the connection between us, no matter how real the feelings...In the end, our loyalties won against everything else. Porco... he chose his duty, his loyalty to Marley. And that... that meant leaving me behind."
Sasha's heart aches for you, her own eyes watering slightly at the pain her friend is going through. She squeezes your arm gently, a silent gesture of support.
Mikasa remains quiet, her own heart in turmoil. She knows all too well the pain of choosing between love and duty.
You wipe a tear that has escaped, „And I... I had to respect his choice.", you murmur. „I couldn't ask him to defy everything he's fought for, everything he believes in. He had a duty to his country, and I had to release him from the burden of my feelings. I had to let him go."
