Levi's eyes widen in surprise at your determined words. He expected you to want to stay close to Porco, but this level of boldness is something he didn't anticipate. The guards look at you, unsure of what to do.
„What?" Levi asks, his voice filled with a mixture of surprise and disbelief. „You think I'm going to let you sleep in a cell next to a prisoner?"

Your determination doesn't waver. Your eyes are ablaze with a mix of love and protectiveness. „Yes.", you respond, your voice resolute. „That's exactly what I think I am going to do. I need to be close to Porco." Levi's eyebrows furrow at your statement, the firmness in your tone leaving little room for argument. He exchanges a glance with the guards who look equally taken aback. It's clear you aren't going to back down.

Porco smirks, his eyes fixed on the blanket in your arms.
„Oh, short stack, don't be so uptight. I don't bite, well...not unless Y/N ask." Your face flush slightly at his words. Levi ignores his comment and sighs, realizing he's in a difficult spot. On one hand, he can't disregard the security risk of having you so close to a prisoner. On the other hand, your stubbornness is as much of a risk as Porco could be.

„You realize how risky this is? You're willingly putting yourself in potential danger. This will have consequences for you, even though I don't want that, Y/N."
„Then I immediately accept the punishment and willl go to this cell."
Levi sighs, his expression conflicted.
„Alright, fine. But if anything happens, don't say I didn't warn you." He unlocks the cell beside Porco's, allowing you to enter.
Levi shakes his head, his expression resolute. „Porco Galliard is dangerous, Y/N. He's a titan shifter who's shown no remorse for the Eldians he's devoured. It doesn't matter how he is with you, he's a threat to us all." Porco listens to their conversation silently, his eyes focused on you.

The two guards assigned to the cell watch with a mixture of surprise and uncertainty. One of them leans over to Levi, his voice low. „Is this really a good idea, Captain?"
Levi grits his teeth, clearly not happy with the situation but also recognizing that you won't be easily swayed.
„Just keep an eye on her.", he instructs the guards.
The guards nod, their gazes fixed on you as you take a seat on the bunk, wrapping the blanket around you.

Inside the cell, you settle on the bunk, the scratchy blanket providing little comfort. You lean back against the stone wall, your body pressed against the cool, hard surface that separates you from Porco. Your eyes fixed on the dimly lit room, your heart aching with longing.

You can imagine Porco leaning against the same wall on the other side, only a thin layer of stone separating you two. It feels both reassuring and torturous at the same time, knowing he's so near to you yet you can't see him, touch him.
Porco's voice floats across the stone wall, its rough, hoarse quality cutting through the silence of the cell.
„Hey." He says, his voice tinged with concern, „How are you doing over there?"

You jump at the sound of his voice, a mix of relief and yearning filling you immediately. You lean towards the wall, as if you could reach through it to touch him.
„I... I'm okay." You respond, your voice barely above a whisper. „It's just... I miss you."
The blonde man sighs, the weight of distance between you clearly affecting him as well. „I miss you to.", he confesses, his voice low but filled with raw emotion. „It's hell being so close and yet far from you."
You press a hand against the wall, as if trying to feel his presence. Your voice quiver slightly as you respond. „I just want to be with you... to see you, touch you..."

Porco's voice is strained as he replies, the longing in his tone mirroring yours. „I know... I want that too. More than anything." There's a pause before he speaks again, his voice laced with a hint of pain. „But... this is how it has to be for now."
You respond with a mixture of resignation and hope. „Porco... I understand the position you're in. But you have to work with them. Cooperate with Levi and Hange. It's the only way we might be able to be together again."
He lets out a small chuckle, his voice filled with fondness.
„You've been hanging around Levi too much,
Y/N. You're starting to sound like him now. But don't worry, I'll be on my best behavior."
Despite his playful tone, there's a sincerity in his voice as he promises to cooperate with Levi and the others. He clearly has deep feelings for you and wants to do whatever it takes to make you happy, even if it means swallowing his pride and following orders.
„But you shouldn't be down here. It's too cold. Go back to your room.", he adds.

There's a moment of stillness after Porco's words, your heart aching at the concern he shows for you, even in the midst of his own predicament. You shake your head, determination in your eyes.
„No.", you reply firmly. „I'm not leaving. I told you, I need to be close to you. I don't care about the cold."
Porco lets out a frustrated huff, his protective instincts kicking in. „This is crazy!" He retorts, his voice edged with concern. „You should be in a warm bed, not freezing in a stone cell."

Your stubbornness doesn't waver. „I don't care if it's crazy.", you counter, your voice filled with equal parts affection. „I'd rather freeze here knowing I'm near you than be comfortable alone elsewhere." There's a moment's pause, Porco seemingly at a loss for words in the face of your stubbornness. Finally, he replies, his voice resigned yet warm.
„You're so damn stubborn, you know that?"

You let out a soft, bittersweet chuckle. „Maybe." You concede, a hint of a smile in your voice. „But look who's talking."
Porco snorts, the sound carrying a hint of affection and amusement. „I guess we're a pair of stubborn fools, then." Your smile widen at his words.
„I guess we are. But we're a pair of stubborn fools who care deeply for each other."

Porco's voice softens, the rough edges smoothing over. „Yeah." he admits, his gruffness giving way to tenderness. "We are."
